Since opening our doors to the community in St. Croix, we've been committed to shipping cargo to the island, paying particular attention to providing a quick and easy shipping process for the local businesses and individuals located in the US Virgin Islands. Our mission at Paradise Freight is simple: To provide high-quality services in a timely manner.
Paradise Freight ships every week from Medley, FL to St. Croix, USVI. Once we receive cargo at our Florida facility we track the cargo until it's picked up from our warehouse on St. Croix or delivered to a home or business. Allowing our customers to know where their cargo is at all times and know when they will be able to receive their goods.

Pkg delivered on a Monday. Missed Wednesday sail. Missed next week too, and the week after that. Finally, only 1 out of three items showed up. "It's slow in Miami" was reason given. Next box arrived 2PM on 12/3 /21. Got a notice to pick it up on 1/18/22... 46 days after they received it in Miami. I am a patient person, but that's not even in the ballpark. Come back Marissa!

Not going to say good or bad. The whole customer service experience started off bad. I take that as a sign to stay away. I submitted for quotes 3 times and got no answer, so Im cool.
People have had both good and bad experiences like any business, but when the bads are more and recent, I stay away, thats just me.

One of the "local" freight forwarding companies on STX. The people at the STX location run a fairly smooth operation but it can get backed up up when it gets busy and parking is limited.
I have more issues with the MIA office and getting the required invoices sent to them online.
If you call MIA they are always helpful, just the invoice issues trip me up 50% of the time.

Theft is what we experienced when using Paridise Freight for shipping our personal items from Miami to StCroix. I watched our several pallets shrink wrapped in FL. Two weeks later, upon pick up, one entire pallet had been apart with the taped up bins opened and gone through. Many items stolen, suitcases had locks broken & zip ties cut. Manager claims it arrived like this and pallet was to tall to fit in storage trailer. Cargo handler/employees along the way of transporting our personal property snooped into our sealed up storage pallets and stole many items. Others have told me similar experiences

STC handled the move from St. Thomas to Miami of my son's truck and mechanics tools. Not only did it take 13 weeks for the shipment to reach Miami, they damaged his truck - $3,400 estimated repairs - they still haven't settled the claim even though their Medley, Fl. manager acknowledged their responsibility.
They are ducking his phone calls, I'm sure, hoping he'll give up trying. Not so. We've filed a report with the Florida Attorney General's office and have now filed a claim with son's insurer.
Don't use St. Thomas Cargo if you want hassle-free service!

We had 2 pallets going St Croix to Miami. Sent 1/8/19, arrived 2/8. The service was incredible start to finish. Charlene walked us through all options, including delivery past Miami. Drop off service was great. Pick-up was incredibly easy. We were worried about ocean shipping, and put a plastic liner in every box. Turned out unnecessary, pallets arrived shrink wrapped, and boxes were flawless. It was also much cheaper than I expected.

BEWARE, and never go with this terrible company. They completely destroyed my TV that I had just finished paying off. Also, my boxes that had "Fragile" labelled all over them were completely squished in with damaged items. This has to be one of the most unprofessional shipping companies I have ever worked with and will never do business with them again.

My wife and I left St Croix a few weeks after hurricane Maria and all we had left was 8 small boxes. Everything else was destroyed. I flew back down in December to ship our boxes up to Florida and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to ship something. No one at the St Croix office knows anything. They kept telling me to come back on to talk to the one person that could give me information. It took 4 trips and 3 different days and I still had no info. Then they finally said I can leave it there and it’ll get on the next boat which was my only option at that point as I was leaving

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY AT PARADISE FREIGHT!!!!!!!! My son attempted to ship down to St. Croix a motorcycle. Paradise Freight dropped the motorcycle off of a crane and destroyed it. MICHAEL the so-called "manager" is rude, lies and THINKS he is not going to reimburse my son. HE DARED ME TO SUE! Paradise Freights' attorneys fees will cost more than the motorcycle. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! Michael also refused to give me the owners name choosing instead to waste the owners money on attorneys fees. THEY ARE NEGLIGENT AND INCOMPETENT.

We used Paradise Fright to send all of our treasured house hold goods to St Croix about 2 years ago. Loved the service both in Florida and on the island. Very helpful. Last May we used them to ship 9,000 lbs of roofing material to the island. There were no problems at all. Again, very helpful.
Now we are shipping replacement items after hurricane Maria, we'll see how they do. Anticipating no problems.

Used Paradise to ship to and from the Virgin Islands. When we received our belongings back in the states - 90% of it was all destroyed. TV screen cracked and split. Everything wooden was water damaged like it sat in the rain for two weeks. EVERY container was crushed and the only thing that wasn't rusted, cracked, or otherwise rendered useless were the pots and silver.
All of our family photos and collectables were sun damaged and water stained. I have never felt more taken advantage of in my life.
This stuff was our personal belongings that HAD REASON to be shipped and not thrown away

Paradise Freight provides excellent service. I only know the staff in the St Croix office, but they very friendly and professional. I can pick my stuff up with confidence that it has shippers safely and is in one piece when it arrives. We use Paradise freight often! They are cost efficient and reliable
