In cryosurgery, liquid nitrogen is used to treat skin growths and viral infections, fade age spots, and treat some pre-cancerous lesions and early skin cancers.Our physicians apply frozen nitrogen using either a cotton swab or a spray device. The goal is to freeze the skin quickly and then allow it to slowly thaw to cause maximum destruction to targeted skin cells.

I visited this practice few times and i liked the service that they provide and you can walk-in. However, for my last visit i was never informed that the 30 second nitrogen spray procedure was not going to be covered by my insurance. I don't ever get bills from insurance but after paying my $30 co-pay, i am seeing another big bill for 30 second procedure that never fixed my issue. If i had known that i would have to pay for this procedure then i wouldn't have done it which doesn't fix anything. I hate writing review but this wasn't acceptable.

If i could give a star lower than one i would. This is the most unprofessional office I have ever witnessed. Dont waste your time and money going there. My husband had an appointment today, and they did not take him only because he had a balance of $74.00, from the last visit, that was less than a month ago. We have insurance (United Health Care). bill/invoice probably in the process of being paid by insurance now, and will be paid within couple of days. Its usually takes a couple of months to process a bill by insurance company, but a careless receptionist and another guy who did not say his name

Just an amazing place with great office staff and doctors. I drive 40 minutes to get here because the dermatologist in my town started to push crazy expensive products she owns. Then I had a basal cell at my former place and they didn’t call me to tell me for 2 months after the biopsy. This place only cares about one thing. Your health.

Dr. Brisbane is awesome and listened to my son and his concerns. Traveled over an hour (traffic) for the appointment as she came recommended by a physician I work with and it was well worth it. She walked us through every step. The office is clean, modern, and nicely set up for social distancing. The receptionists were nice enough but could have made more eye contact and been friendlier. Experienced the same not so warm welcome and no so thoughtful sendoff on check in and out for our 2 visits. I will still give 5 stars as the clinical service has been outstanding.

Quick and convenient service but the staff can make you feel sort of uncomfortable every time. It makes you feel like there is no actual expectations when it comes to the patient care part..
Dr. Stacey Brisman is however worth booking for an appointment. She was professional personable and knowledgeable. It definitely makes sense there is usually a wait time to book her opposed to others there.

Horrible experience. I called this office to confirm that they take walk-ins because I'm about a 30 min drive away. I was told that they do and was given their hours for the following day. So the next day, I presented to their "walk-in" clinic, which is very ironically named "Walk-in Dermatology". The place was utterly empty save the two receptionists working behind the counter. I've been using Dr. Brisman for over five years. The office is clean, well managed, and personable. All questions are answered at each appointment. Dr. Brisman is caring and has great bed side manners. She takes great precautions during Covid times as all people should. Appointments run close to schedule each time I go. Absolutely exemplary experience from pre admission to the outstanding Dr., Dr. Giuseppe Militello. I feel fortunate to be under his care. If I was able to give more than 5 stars I would. I waited until the last minute to find a dermatologist to remove a skin tag from my nose the week of a wedding I was attending. Every single office I called gave me the same answer "we can't schedule a first time patient this week" so I was screwed. As soon as I called this office, the staff was extremely helpful. They directed me to fill out the patient forms online instead of in the office to save time. My son suffers from eczema and living in Long Island we had to find a new dermatologist so we found walk-in in dermatologist. I was pleasantly surprised with there services. First they allow you to wait in your car and call you when it's your turn , then when you walk in it's a beautiful clean office that you walk through to the room you will be seen in . The staff was really kind and the doctor was great. The covid protocols in place really make you feel comfortable like not having an open waiting room. There's a sign that you can see from your vehicle with the instructions to call to check in and wait in your vehicle. There's also signs with instructions on the door. So the person who posted a bad review stating she didn't know to wait in her car, kind of silly because if you saw that the sign said check in, you would've also seen it said to wait in your car if you would've kept reading. Horrible place!!! Came here last year for my yearly skin check and had a positive experience. So I made an appointment for next month because I was so pleased. So today I called and asked if they have any appointments or are taking walks ins. I had to try and rush there after work which was difficult. The lady on the phone said yes they can do it until 5 because that is when they close. I left work 4:45 and went all the way from lake success to Glen cove and went as fast as I could to make sure I would get there on time. Wow! I had a rash, power was out and they still took me in! I don't remember my docs name but she was a young woman, listened and explained everything I am now talking meds and I'm clearing up!
Everyone in office was super nice too! I called in after trying online and they accommodated me an hour later.
