Our mission is to assist our clients in meeting their financial goals by providing objective financial advice and selecting securities with suitable risk-to-return characteristics.

Prior to founding Pin Oak in 1989, Barrett worked as a financial analyst with a local investment advisor. He also worked as a management consultant with a large accounting firm. He is a Certified Financial Planner and a Registered Investment Advisor. He earned a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 1984 and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986.
