Your engine cannot run without proper lubrication. At Primarily Japanese, we recommend that you change your oil every 3 month or 3000 miles. This will eliminate excessive engine wear and will improve your gas mileage. Regular oil change can keep your vehicle newer, longer.
Our oil change service includes: Up to 5 quarts of oil; New oil filter; Chassis lubrication; Examine and filling power steering fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid and brake fluid; Inspecting belts, hoses, air filter and breather elements; and Inspect condition and level of coolant in the cooling systems.We also rotate the tires, reset the tire pressure and inspect the complete brake system.

My 2013 Toyota Avalon would shudder periodically when traveling, so I thought possibly the transmission needed service, ie. a transmission fluid change. Sure enough I took the Avalon in to Primarily Japanese for the fluid change. I have found them to be honest and extremely good on Toyotas. The Avalon doesn't shudder on the road anymore and even though it was more expensive than I thought it was well worth the money.

I am sure they are a fine mechanic group but for my 1999 Miata MX-5, they were asking for $175 JUST for inspection for a CEL which I needed downstream O2 sensors replaced. Absolutely ridiculous. I ended up finding a compatible sensor on Amazon for $35 and had another mechanic do it for $90.
I am certain they do inspections to find other things wrong with the car so they can charge more.

I asked them to check EVERYTHING and they did. In addition to everything above, they repaired a leak in the windshield washer bottle hose. Replaced a filter in the cabin A/C system - first ever replacement in 21 years and it needed it! Replaced worn-out windshield wiper blades. Timing belt which was shot was replaced. A couple of small oil leaks were found and seals replaced. A dye was injected into the new oil to help find other micro oil leaks. Various washers, seals were replaced. I couldn't be happier.

As a recent transplant to Tucson from Dallas, finding a reputable automotive repair shop was high on my list. For years, I had this experience in Dallas. I asked for recommendations and spent a good deal of time reading reviews.
Primarily Japanese stood out, and they did not disappoint! I needed an oil change, and a tire rotation was added as a courtesy! I was also preparing to get my car inspected, so they gave me a full report on my 2011 Dodge Journey. No issues, a couple of things to monitor, and clear and concise notes came with my invoice.
Their auto shop is the cleanest I have ever seen

After many trips to the dealer I was frustrated by the costs of every type of repair. Found Primarily Japanese by a women who told me about their service in a Frys parking lot. From the 1st phone contact I could tell a good experience was in my future. Let me know what was needed with the service and the cost. Stayed in touch through out the entire process, advised on things but never pushed. Costs were much less than the Lexus dealer and I felt like they cared about my car and not my credit card. I only gave 5 stars because that's all I could give. This a 10 STAR SHOP. Do yourself a favor and

I have been taking my Nissan to Primarily Japanese for years. They always provide exemplary service, at reasonable and fair prices. I recently had an issue with carbon build-up that required a new intake manifold, and not only did they take care of it, but provided me with a rental car during the process. I would definitely recommend Primarily Japanese for all of your automotive needs.
