Torque Automotive seemed like a fine place, until they lost my $300 OEM VW key fob and never bothered to compensate me for their mistake or replace the key fob. I spent weeks calling back and asking for updates and waiting for the owner to return before they insisted that I had lost the key myself and needed to look for it because they have "never lost a key before". Fortunately the price to repair exceeded the value of my vehicle, because if they had done any actual repairs, I'm not sure what else would be missing from my car.

I had the BEST experience at Torque Automotive. I want to preface this by saying I am a 21 year old girl and was greeted with the kindest women at the front- which is very uncommon elsewhere. This business worked me in to their busy schedule, ordered the parts I needed, and held them for me until I was about to come back from college and drop my car back off. Their pricing was amazing and my car is perfectly functional again. I will never go anywhere else and I would highly recommend this place to anyone- especially if you're driving a Volkswagen!

I depend on the folks at Torque to keep my German as well as Japanese cars well maintained and running. They are friendly, fair, and offer a great service at a reasonable price. In my experience, for BMW and Mercedes, they are extremely knowledgeable, and a better alternative to the dealerships in the area.

I have an older European car and I don’t want to pay dealer prices for general maintenance. Torque was highly recommended by a car group I belong too…and they did not disappoint. I needed some work done and I had some questions/concerns. They were extremely helpful and answered all my questions. A year ago, my car stops working, I get my car towed to them and after they diagnose it, they call me the next day to tell me it's x issue. I tell them to go ahead and fix it and a week later I go and pick up the car. Not even 2 miles down the road, my car stops working and I end up on the side of the highway. I have been to several local places to service my Porsche Boxster and always found Torque to be very professional in all aspects. Simon, in particular, the owner, is very nice and very accommodating. They offer loaner cars and their time estimates are accurate. I believe their pricing is also reasonable and they are always willing to discuss what was done. Their waiting area and shop are clean and well maintained. If something is overlooked or there is something minor they can look at, they don't hesitate to quickly address. All around, I give them "A"s.

Clearly a 5 star customer service rating!! I needed a new battery that I discovered on the weekend after hours. The owner, Simon, took the time to send me estimates of the parts and labor. He answered several of my questions and set up an appointment for me first thing Monday morning. Jason, had me in and out in less than hour! He didn't try to "upscale" me but presented realistic options. I will definitely be back!

I thought we were beginning a great relationship of having our car serviced at Torque Automotive until we experienced mechanical problems with our vehicle approximately 6 weeks after having scheduled Mercedes Benz Service A. Our family was on the return trip of a 2-hour drive from Spencer, NC headed towards Raleigh with two small children in the back seat. Using the trade name Hybrid Geek, they replaced my son's 2007 Prius Hybrid battery in Charlottesville, Virginia. The mechanic traveled the 450 miles from Raleigh to Charlottesville and performed the battery swap quickly and expertly. He then showed my son that all error codes had been cleared and the car works great so far--knock on wood. All this for a very fair price that I did not have to pay until the battery was installed and my son was convinced that everything worked perfectly. I bought my 2015 Toyota Prius in to get a tire sensor replaced. Steve was very professional, very courteous and was fantastic to work with! He explained in detail what needed to be one to get it fixed and the price was alot less then I had originally been quoted by the Toyota dealer. Torque win hands down because they can be trusted to do things the right way. Trusted to do a good job, trusted to not mess about or inflate prices or needs, and trusted to tell you the truth about things. This is a big deal if, like me, you don't speak car. The staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty for me numerous times, and I cannot recommend them enough. Certainly a way better service and cheaper than the BMW dealership.

Got a brake job done on my 06 911 C4 right before Thanksgiving. The guys at Torque are very knowledgeable, fast service, professional and honest. I used to go to Leith Porsche in Cary but they did a real bad job on my clutch the last time I went there so, I had to look elsewhere this time and I'm glad I found the Torque Automotive. Great for imports! I have taken my M3 in twice, once for oil and once for new rear tires and both times Simon and his crew were welcoming and efficient. I made my appointments ahead of time so I was in and out in about an hour for each visit. I highly recommend Torque, it's always nice to find a locally owned auto shop you can trust!

I found Torque Automotive after an exhaustive search to find someone who would rebuild the high voltage battery pack on my Honda Insight (most will only replace with refurb pack). Simon did excellent work and saved me about half the cost of a replacement battery. He even provided a complementary car wash. I highly recommend.
