Q: Do I need to be flexible to practice Yoga? A: No, Our bodies need to be stretched and strengthened and relaxed. Yoga is a balance of these plus breath work. It will help you to feel younger longer and will enhance whatever activities you do outside of class. Q: Can Yoga help me to lose weight? A: No and yes.

By itself, Yoga classes won't burn huge amounts of calories. In time however, Yoga can help you to focus your attention on your particular goals and can help you achieve virtually anything you care to. Q: My schedule varies. Is it possible to attend other classes than the one I signed up for? A: Yes, we usually have room in all the classes so that you can make-up a missed class or come to more than one class per week.
Services
This class is open to people who have or have had cancer through a grant from Peaceful Remedies. Open to all levels focusing on accessing the flow and fluidityof movement that we are all capable of. Online booking is no longer required, however, we are still encouraging our students to sign up in advance.
When you share your experience, you help to spread the word about our offerings and the many benefits of maintaining a regular yoga practice. In doing so, you are increasing the possibility of us to grow our yoga family and in turn, continue being there for you as well! Your words may help potential new students make the decision to try out our services from an informed and relaxed place.

I love yoga and feel if everyone did yoga, we'd have a happier, more peaceful world. Okay, I'll get off my soap box and just review the classes. I've taken both Yin and Gentle Yoga here from husband and wife team Linda and Howard. The two of them combined have over 40 years of yoga instruction experience. If you don't know much about different yoga types, yin is about longer held postures that will target joints, connective tissue, and meridians, while Gentle Yoga is about medium-length deep stretches and working on the breath. There is a sense of calm and beauty as soon as you enter North Coast Yoga studio. I love the classes, they are a perfect balance of gentleness and challenge. Both Linda and Howard are excellent teachers. They are knowledgeable and caring. Every lesson is like taking a cleansing bath for the body and soul. I highly recommend this yoga studio.
