FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD...RUN AWAY! This company collects money but then never actually gives the premiums to the insurance company. We paid over $10,000 for a policy and then when we inquired about using it for a lawsuit, we found out they never gave RLI the money and RLI said we no longer had coverage....huge scam.

WARNING - Fraudulent business practices
As a small business, I needed an E&O insurance policy and went through Stratum who had the policy underwritten by RLI insurance.
Stratum billed for their fee as well as the amount due on the policy, which is standard. After less than a month, I received letters from RLI stating the the policy was being terminated due to non-payment. When I reached out to RLI, they confirmed that they did NOT collect the funds due for the policy, and instead simply collected THEIR fee.
I have now been sent to collections by RLI for a policy that I never had in place

All the local (NY area) agents were only able to write $100K E&O policies for each of my employees. Stratum was able to find several carriers willing to write $1M and up company wide polices that cost me less and gave me 10x the coverage.
While the amount of the policy premium is not very high, I always have received great service on my policy. If I lived in CA, I am sure I'd get all my personal insurance through them as well.

I bought full coverage auto through Stratum Insurance with a company called Unitrin Financial Indemnity Company. While on vacation skiing, my rental car was struck while parked in a hotel parking lot. Unitrin denied the claim stating that the insurance doesn't extend to rental vehicles. This fact was not represented by Stratum Insurance.
Do not use this company or any of its associates unless you want to get scammed.
