This review is based solely on the Italian sub ...
I have been searching for a truely excellent Italian sub for years, possibly decades. I've found a few that weren't bad, or pretty good, but it wasn't until I ordered from here that I was really happy. (I waited until I ordered 3 times, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.)
Just the right amount of fillings (I do order extra lettuce), all I need to do is order it "with everything, extra lettuce" and it's as close to perfect as any I've had.
Ordering & pick up is hassle free (other than a tight parking

It's a solid Italian deli and a classic staple of the Four Corners area. Their food isn't transformative, but everthing I've tried - mostly subs - has been good. The staff is also very friendly. I will agree with another reviewer that sometimes the front of house staff can play a little loose with the face masks, which is a big no no in MoCo (and should be everywhere).
It's a four-star, very good deli, but the sometimes inconsistent mask use gave me pause, though I will say, last couple of times I've been there it's been in order.

Fantastic Italian deli--love love love it. My personal favorite is the turkey sub. Sounds simple, but it's so much more! Fresh, thinly-sliced, oven-roasted turkey with crisp lettuce, perfect tomatoes, mayo, and a delightful surprise: hot peppers! The peppers totally transform what would be a very simple turkey sub into what has become my addiction. I crave this sandwich--the bread, the freshness, the heat... I love it.

Quick question, I called in for a sub order and was asked if it was cash or credit? I said credit. The young guy on the phone said they have a 4% credit credit card transaction fee. When I got to the store for my pick up they have two separate registers. the young Asain guy on the register was going back and forth on the 2 registers. I notice the fee added to my bill. It seems a little shady

I've eaten here a couple times. Pizza is ok. The subs are the real stars. Ordering is fun...they are obvi overwhelmed on the phone but they got the order perfectly. The subs are amazing. I got the veggie and it was delish and I didnt even miss meat. Place is rustic and staff were busy but attentive. I will eat this a lot!

When I called in my order, I was given 20 minutes as the estimate of when it would be ready. After 45 minutes my order was ready. I had to say hello to the staff before they said anything to me.
I looked inside the pizza box only to see onion pizza with a splash of green pepper instead of a mix. The bottom of the pizza was barely cooked! It's as if the pizza was put into an oven that only melted the cheese and left the bread raw. I had to bake the pizza when I got home in order to make it edible. (1/5 stars)

I had placed an order for four Italian subs, a large chicken Caesar salad, a large antipasti salad, six meatballs, and a meat calzone the first weekend of the month. When I returned the next week, I modified the order and did not include the meatballs (nothing special imo) or calzone (a salt bomb) and asked for the dressing on the side for the two salads.

The meatball sub is really good, the bread and sauce are fantastic. I hope I remember to ask if they can cut the meatballs in half next time and get some sauce in between. The meatballs are large and the middle is a little lackluster to me so getting just a wee bit of sauce in there would make this sub amazing. We all have different tastes, lots of folks will love it just as it is, for me the sauce makes it and should get in every bite.

People can be a little surly and order confusion occurs occasionally, but my favorite lunch is chicken cheesesteak from Santucci's. Not my favorite Silver Spring lunch, not my favorite Montgomery County lunch, not my favorite Maryland lunch, my FAVORITE LUNCH.

The sandwich I got on the 28 of August was a 5 star. I bought the chicken steak sub and a Italian sub both were 5 stars I couldn't wait to get another and was so disappointed. Very little meat just a terrible sub. I am apprehensive about trying another because they are not cheap. I think when you are known for your food the Quality should stay the same.

For starters this place is one of those hole in the walls that you can't undermine just by the look of it. I went in ordered for the first time was craving a sandwich and thought why not, gave the veggie sandwich a try with added mozzarella cheese and let's just say I didn't even make it to my office before eating the whole thing in my car. I am so glad I chose this over the subway that was literally a couple doors down after trying the sandwich from here I seriously don't even know how subway is in business. This deli is always busy and very consistent. I searched hard and long for a great place that makes amazing hoagie's. Being from Jersey/ Philly we had the best bread and hoagie's.
Santuccis serves everything from breakfast sandwiches to cheese steaks. I don't eat a lot of meat so I haven't tried them (cheesesteaks)but I'm sure they are good. They also have this amazing gelato that I grab when it's really hot out.

I got a to-go order of the large classic Italian sub- two of these and a roast beef sandwich with Swiss on wheat. The place was busy but everyone very friendly. The sub meat is freshly cut and the sub roll is soft, chewy and held up with the delicious sub sauce. I got hot peppers with banana peppers added -a seriously spicy good combo. The roast beef was heavy on the roast beef, only flaw was it needed horseradish- which they didn't have. It was good but kinda plain.
Seating is limited. So I would assume at busy times it would be hard to find seats.
