The Woodmont Deli, was established in 1999 and has been serving the Bethesda community for more than 16 years. Our location is quaint, friendly and worth stopping in for a visit, we have a few tables inside and a few more curbside. I love coming here. It’s an adorable family owned deli perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat. Owners were so warm and welcoming when I first came in and have recognized me every time I’ve come in since. They open early and close late and serve breakfast and coffee, lunch, and dinner. Great tasting food for very good price in Bethesda. My sandwiches have always been fresh and delicious.

Horrible service. I have ordered breakfast takeout and delivery from Grubhub from Woodmont for years and the food has been great. Today I ordered an egg and cheese bagel directly from the store's delivery service. Their was no option once you selected the egg and cheese bagel to check scrambled or fried and since most of their items are scrambled it never occurred to me it would come fried but it did. I hate fried egg. I ended up throwing it out and called the store to get a credit. The woman answering yelled at me and spoke bad English so I couldn't even understand her but she seemed

Living in New York City for 4 years really showed me what a quality deli looks like. This deli is definitely top notch. The prices are amazing, the service is over the top, and the food taste great! I loved that the workers are very attentive to what you want/need. I got the veggie sandwich and fries, the portions were extremely generous for the price. Added little touch is every box had a heart showing that they value their customers!

The manager was extremely nasty when I called about them making a mistake on a order I placed. She hung up and I called over 10 times just to reach them. Then the manager name i believe was forever young threatened to call the POLICE all because I WANTED A REFUND. I had it delivered and all she said was come pick another one up and hung up. This is my favorite place in Bethesda to get breakfast before work. The service here is unmatched at any other deli around here. The lady who takes your order is the sweetest person I have ever met. Food is always made accurately and quickly. Prices are also really good here. Meat, egg, cheese, home fries, and toast is about $8. Meat egg and cheese on toast is $4 or $5 if you want a bagel or croissant for bread. I will be back many times!

The ladies running the place are incredibly sweet. They handle a crowd incredibly well all things considered (its a very small shop). Food is great and reasonably priced. I got the fish sandwich, the crab soup, and some cookies. The only critique i could offer is the fish itself was kinda small and the soup was a little thick. The cookies were delicious and soft and lovely. Everything tasted very good and was super filling. But the best part was the service-- really great people running the place.

The owner at Woodmont Deli is the best part about this business. I came in, morning of my son's birthday during the pandemic, and asked for almost 2 dozen grilled cheese sandwiches for an impromptu celebration I was going to have with our friends at the park for my son's first birthday. Did not share any of that info, just placed the order. I came back an hour later, and the owner asked me if these might be for a kid's birthday party and if it was my son's birthday (who I had with me). Yes and yes. She said she thought so, so she took the liberty to package them nicely and present

This place is literally magic. The egg, cheese, and sausage croissant is probably the best thing I have ever had. The Reuben? Amazing. Bethesda chicken? The stuff of dreams. I beg of you, please go here it is perfection; and if by some stroke of terrible luck you dislike your sandwich, return and order something else because this place freaking ROCKS!

This is my go-to spot from now on when I forget to bring lunch. They're the sweetest people ever and the price is very affordable. Good food, clean place, fast, quiet calm and made in front of you. Id put this up against any cool hole in the wall deli in New York or Chicago with the only difference being that its not loud, it has some subtle Asian influences and for me was a wonderfully calm place to have a meal. I will admit that deli dine-in food served on a real plate with soothing asian music playing was initially odd, but the longer I sat the more it matched the ambiance and turned out to be a tranquil place to enjoy a meal.

So excited that I can still get sandwiches from here while working from home! The Bethesda Chicken is my favorite! I also love how there's such a wide range of drinks and snacks available, all the good junk food AND healthier options so I'm set no matter what my mood. Plus the owner is the sweetest and truly cares about her customers. If you want to support a wonderful local business during this crazy time, I highly recommend getting a sandwich and all your munchies from here!

And then going down even a little more from there if you're going to a cafe for the atmosphere.
It's small, they have about 3 or 4 small two person tables that are crammed between the front window, the drink fridges, and where the line forms.
I would probably put the food at more of a 3-3.5 stars.
But the service is extra friendly which is why they get the rounded up 4 stars.
Homefries are decent, which they were a bit crispier.

I made this my pit stop before & my Dr's appointment, & although my selection was basic, they offer an abundance of breakfast & lunch items...not too many deli's offer Salmon Cakes (patties) or pancakes. They offer over 50 different types of sandwiches, chicken wings, soups, salads & desserts, along with candy/snacks to choose from. Bottled drinks, Fountain Sodas, Coffee, Energy Drinks & wait for it...Beer & Wine.
Some small requests of this or that I noticed was free for a customer, so that speaks volume as most places nickel

This is not your typical deli! They go past the point of perfection with their personal service. The owners know your name and your order. They greet you

This is my granddaughter's favorite breakfast stop after her morning class with her grandfather. They know her order and her grandfathers. Her order is the bagel, egg, and cheese. She gobbles down her bagel sandwich in a few quick bites. That means it is absolutely wonderful!
My son recently brought over some of their sandwiches for lunch one day. We had the turkey
with avocado
