Exercise is essential for both physical and mental health-now more than ever! I am grateful that I don't work in a gym. I have a private studio in my home with a separate entrance. This allows me to have full control over my space. I clean and disinfect my room after each client, and will be more than happy to wear a mask during training sessions.

Welcome to Fitness, Food and You! My name is Rhonda Markman, and I am a certified personal trainer (ACE) and nutritionist (DTR), who is passionate about empowering clients to make lifestyle changes to stay healthy. I practice in Westchester, NY, where you can see me for personal training, fitness classes, and/or nutritional counseling.

Rhonda is the best personal trainer I ever had. She is incredibly talented, supportive, friendly, funny and does magic with your body! At the end of the session, you realize that you worked your all body, that you just did things you never imagined you could do and still, the feeling is that you were just spending an hour with an amazing friend!
Only one down side... after exercising with Rhonda you can’t imagine exercising with anyone else!
She is the best!!!

Rhonda is an incredibly talented personal trainer. Working out with her is an amazing experience. You start the session feeling tired and lethargic, and you finish feeling good about yourself, energized, and ready to take on the world. Started with Rhonda because she was my Mom's trainer and thought it would be fun to do with my Mom and my sisters, but have completely fallen in love with Rhonda myself! I loathe all exercise but her classes are actually fun and I felt motivated to attend. Highly recommend, and bring your Mom and sisters and partners and friends!

Rhonda is a ball of sunshine, and it's hard not to like exercising when she is a part of it! She seamlessly transitioned to Zoom classes when the pandemic hit, and has been consistently engaging me and many other people through rigorous but fun exercise. I have back/ neck issues and as I started going to her class regularly, they have all but dissipated!

Rhonda is a great person to wake up to on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. She makes exercise fun and I love both her exercise techniques and funny stories. She rounds everything out with constant emails of inspirational stories and great recipes. She is a real gift and I highly recommend her.

Rhonda is more than a trainer..she is a coach and a life changer. Rhonda will help you find yourself in a way you did not know possible while pushing your muscles to perform at their best. A friend gifted me my first personal training session with Rhonda for my birthday a few years ago and it stands as one of the best birthday gifts I've ever received! I am not naturally inclined to exercise and through her expertise, kindness, patience, humor and wisdom, Rhonda has changed my entire relationship to exercise. I also participate in her classes, both in person and now through zoom, and she deftly captures that sweet spot between rigorous and fun. I have recommended Rhonda to so many people that friends have joked that I'm a walking advertisement for her...she's gifted at what she does

I decided to train with Rhonda because of the combination of trainer and nutritionist. I learn more every time I see her, and I appreciate the time she gives me. She is a great trainer and takes care to make sure I am comfortable and not adding to any injuries. I also love that her schedule is flexible and she works with you. I definitely recommend Rhonda.
