I ordered from Casola's who now uses delivery services like Uber Eats instead of their own drivers. They changed the expected delivery time 4 times on th3 Uner East app. After an hour and a half of waiting Uber Eats offered me $6.25 towards a future purchase. Then the app immediately delayed delivery another 20 minutes. I canceled. The excuse was that they were really busy! Then don't accept orders you can't fill. I will never order from Casola's or Uber Eats again. Absolutely no customer service at all. Pathetic.

Really wanted to like this place because everyone mentioned it. With that being said…they only take credit cards for delivery. The slices are about $5 each - they are very large but I can’t say I was amazed. The cheese pizza was undercooked and cold. The pepperoni pizza was average. Cheese wasn’t even fully melted. I wouldn’t come here again on my own, only if someone insisted.

This is one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. The steak looked and tasted like cat food (obviously I have never tasted cat food, but you know what I mean). The mushrooms were from a tin. The calzone looked so disgusting nobody would touch it so it ended in the trash, along with half the pizza. It is difficult to make food so bad that it is actually inedible.

Just left Casola's and I'm sad to say that it was nothing like it used to be. The calzone was terrible. The crust was over cooked and the ham and cheese inside was under seasoned. The "garlic" rolls were just dinner rolls with a side of oil and garlic that we had to either dip the roll into or pour it over. The tomato sauce that they gave us for the calzone and Stromboli was just liquid. The sauce was so thin that it wouldn't stick to the food. This place has a huge following and many rave about its style of pizza. Personally I don't care for it. It's an oversized pizza with mediocre crust that tastes ordinary! I personally think some of the fast food places have better pies. Also the whole cash thing here is a bit old and hope they come around.

It's not how it use to be before the pandemic, hardly no one was wearing a mask while making food especially during the surge of Omicron. I get it about the mask but it could've been better. Asked for garlic powder they gave me garlic salt and I put it on my pizza and my pizza was so salty! But I'm not gonna stop going, they just need to improve cleanliness.

Simple pizza joint. The food is great, portions are more than reasonable, relatively cheap.
The cleanliness is an area that they're sorely lacking in and I hope they revamp that aspect of the experience sooner rather than later. The floor was dirty with bits of trash everywhere, the tables were dirty and crumb filled. The seats were dirty as well.
Other than that, I cannot complain. I would visit again to see improvement in cleanliness, otherwise takeout may be the only way to consume their food.

I used to love Casolas. For two decades, I was a regular. But the pizza slices now are like gargling with salt. Three different times it's been this way. I'm not coming back until it's the way it used to be. Also, the ordering area is full of people at close quarters. Staff and Customers maskless during Omicron. Not fun.

It has more of a too crunchy effect. I was so tempted to just get a full refund. This place used to be THE best hotspot for pizza back then, like especially when people were coming back from the beach at Key Biscayne. I don't understand what happened, but last time I was here I certainly wasn't very impressed.
The cheese seems to have the same delicious taste but the pizza isn't as ooey

I've been going to this pizza spot since I can remember. My parents would bring me here and I remember they used to have small pizza slices for anyone waiting in line to try. Due to COVID this isn't a thing anymore but the pizza is still amazing. I've recently tried their spaghetti and meatballs and it's really good. It even brings bread and garlic included.

Im giving two stars because service here is always nice. Haven’t had an issue there. We’ve ordered from here a few times to give it a shot since it’s close to our house. Unfortunately, the pizza is always not good, and I don’t bother with the leftovers. It’s both overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Crust is like a rock, but the cheese is still barely melted. This last pizza we got was pretty salty, and they use an abundance of cheap cheese that’s unpleasant. They got really big pies tho if you need quantity and not quality.

Hotel recommended this place wish we would have chosen somewhere else. Chicken Parmesan was shredded chicken dry not breaded no sauce ans congealed cheese. Stromboli was greasy and tasteless the only redeeming item was the garlic rolls if you don't mind the rolls being plain and garlic oil to dip it into

I'll say this, there were a fair amount of people here and the staff was relatively nice. That's the okay part, but quality of pizza. I would rate this as one of the worst slices of pizza I've had, definitely bottom 5. It was unbelievably greasy and the cheese was absolutely horrendous. Flavor of sauce was non-existent and the dough was tough, but somewhat passable part. In nyc you would be pushed out by pitchforks if this was served.

I tried Casola's for the first time after happy hour...well, several hours at happy hour. One slice of cheese pizza is like the equivalent of a typical small or medium pie! These "slices" are HUGE! I loved the pizza. It's New York style with a great flavor and the crust was just well done enough without being too much.

Off the bat I'm biased I've been coming here since I was a teenager. This place is a Miami staple! Anyone born in South Miami has a story here. After whatever you did that night this was one of the spots you would meet up and grab a bite. Enjoy the MEGA slice of pizza and a drink! 5 stars !! Classic place! Watch your bumper when you park out front and if you need more parking go to the back. Take the one way on the left side of the building .

Anyone who goes here will always come back here time and time again. I have been coming to this pizza shop for five years. The pizzas are enormous and impressive. They add just the right amount of sauce and topping for a large pizza, and the pizza dough is crunchy and soft. This pizza shop beats all these large pizza chains. Don't get me started on the wings. This little hidden gem has one of the best Steak & Cheese I have ever had. They only take cash, but it is so worth it and they have an ATM inside in case you do not have cash. The sub is so big that I could not finish it. The combination of onions, mushrooms and provolone cheese was perfect. I cannot wait to back and for another sub or something else on the menu. The pizza looked amazing as well.

HUGE pizza slices! They were tasty too. The side salad was large...plenty enough to share. We originally wanted to try Eleventh St Pizza but their hours didn't fit our schedule. Casola's was a good way to satisfy that pizza craving.
Place is super run down and they only take cash. Just something you should be aware of beforehand.

Still the great old school pizza spot I enjoyed many moons ago when I was a teenager driving around late night with friends. Pizza size is pretty damn big. One slice order is equally the size of a small pizza anywhere else lol. Their chicken wings are always hot a fresh them things busting. Can't forget to get some of the small chocolate chip cookies on the wAy out. Pizza is a solid 7.2 lol (barstoolsports 1 bite everyone knows the rules) has the crunchy crust with just the right amount of flap. Consistent all the way through.

I feel like I wanted to give them more stars but the whole CASH ONLY thing is the reason for the negative in stars. I didn't know before coming here and I usually don't have cash on me, as most people these days. I had the meatball sub which was good. The sauce was good and the sub didn't get soggy. I also had a slice of pizza which was good.

Good spot to hit up after a night out. Pizza is served nice and fresh. Taste better than I thought it would. Came with lots of cheese and toppings which I was happy about. One slice is all you need to get full. They take a while to bring your order out but the wait is with it. Definitely coming back!

Myself and another two ladies ordered a small pizza. We each ate 2 pieces and were able to have left over.
