Classes offered at Ironwood are mainly Heated Vinyasa yoga however, non-heated Yin and Hatha are also held. Beginners, "sometimes" yogis, and experienced yogis are all welcome. Everyone is capable of taking any of the classes offered - the key is to listening to your body and moving at your own pace.
I'm new to Heated Vinyasa Yoga, what can I expect? Congratulations! You are about to embark on a journey that will change your life in ways as unique as you are. As with anything new, please be compassionate with yourself. Remember it isn't possible to get everything right away, and even the most advanced yogi is still in the process of learning.

I'm not new to yoga, normally I practice gentle forms and I don't like the heated classes. I'm very happy that I went to Ironwood Yoga, it is a really lovely setting to practice yoga. I attended the the gentle class (it is NOT heated) taught by Brigid, it was a very good experience, she gave some prompts that were new effective ways of moving into positions and that will help me in my future practices. There are mats to rent if needed, and props available to use during your practice.
