The beds were far from clean and that's the biggest thing for when people stay in hotels. While the service was amazing if the beds are dirty it defeats the whole purpose of a hotel. I had weird rashes on my arms. We tried to get another room but unfortunately there was nothing available. I don't think it's worth the risk

Pick up took 1 hour, although the hotel advised us the driver would be leaving in 15 minutes. 3 phone calls later, the shuttle driver finally showed up. Room was unimpressive, very industrial white with very little coziness or decor. No fridge. Upon check out, one of the staff at the desk had his mask below his chin, amidst the Omicron breakout, and was constantly had his hand on his nose and mouth. Very dangerous and unsanitary. Location is close to the airport and trains, but will not return on our next trip.

Although it was a short stay, we loved it. The staff was so welcoming. The hotel was very clean and it smelled good! They have a restaurant/bar with yummy food and drinks.
The rooms are a little small but the way they have it set-up you won't even notice it. Their modern art throughout the entire hotel makes everything so vibrant!
Cannot wait to come back! Highly recommended, reasonable prices.

The shuttle ride to the airport ended up being nearly traumatic. I diplomatically asked the driver if he could drive less aggressively "Sir, I'm probably a nervous nelly but could you calm your driving a bit" and this had the opposite effect. I had arrived internationally so did not have a working phone - otherwise I would have called 911. He was clearly attempting to drive abruptly, changing lanes, accelerating, pulsing the throttle, jabbing the brakes. He asked me "where are you from?" said, "this is new jersey...I have been doing this since I was...".

Hot summer day and famished. Saw a sign for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. My daughter and I were extremely pleased! Our waiter was both pleasant and polite in a very genuine way. I questioned a gentleman as he walked by about the temperature being a little cool. He instantly removed his jacket and covered my shoulders. This chivalrous act turned out to be Valentino, the manager of the restaurant. Our delicious drinks were delivered by the bartender who was also quite polite. We ordered shrimp and vegetarian taco entrees which were both fresh & scrumptious. I will definitely

We want to give a huge shoutout to Margarita, Felix & Diego!!! My sister and I got stuck in Newark, and we had to find a place to stay very last minute. Margarita was on and off the phone with us over 10 times helping us with the airport shuttle, the booking, and the room. She was SO helpful. Felix and Diego both work at the restaurant downstairs. They both brightened our day! Wonderful food as well.
Thank you Margarita, Felix and Diego!

The hotel stay was decent. The parking is close by and convenient, $20 a night. It's a modern look, no microwave in the room. Didn't like haven't to go to the lobby to heat up the food. For the price of the room it's an ok stay compared to several other hotels I visited. The hallways smelled like weed the whole stay but that's not the hotels fault. The guy was nice to put our two rooms together which he gave us a free upgrade to be together.

This hotel seemed okay on the surface, however, the people who ran it were very unprofessional and did not accommodate for anything. The room wasn't ready until 3 pm and upon arriving in the room, it has wet and sticky floors. Beyond the holes in the walk and torn apart furniture, it was spacious. However, we were promised when we booked that the family room had two bathrooms, yet all 8 of us had to share one bathroom. Beyond that, we asked the front desk for coffee pods and a few coffee cups, and they gave us an extremely hard time about it. A coffee cup. They wouldn't even give us them

I called to check shuttle info. Was informed they run every hour on the hour but call when I hop on the AirTran and they'll send it early. GREAT! Starting off wonderful.
Get down there at 1:40. Time passes. I call back at 215. She says they come every hour in the hour I mention that I've been here since 140 and it's now 215. She says if they are sometimes a minute or two late. I say ma'am. It's 15 past. She says "like I told you already sometimes they're delayed with traffic.
Was picked up at 2:48. Hoping the hotel is nice but just didn't like the lack

This is by the worst hotel stay ever. Don't waste your time over here. Read the review and go somewhere else. I wish I never step a foot at this hotel. Everything went wrong the moment I checked in. The front desk lady is just here for a check and nothing more nothing less . I checked in the first room it had a strong smell of smoke . I went downstairs and I ask for another room. She finally agreed to. This was far better . The hall smelled of weed and smoke . Don't bring your kids here or family. People where so loud in their room . Across the hall. Hotel is beautiful but is management

-First Impression- Very modern and cute decor. Love the lighting in the lobby!
-Food- Ordered a margherita pizza from the bar. Much bigger that I thought it was gonna be which I guess would explain the price, lol
-Service- Everyone was very polite and nice.
-Price- Fair, particularly for the proximity to NJPAC
-Did Not Like- The bathroom was FREEZING COLD (I stayed here in February). For some reason, the heat didn't reach the bathroom, so stepping on the floor, or getting out of a steaming hot shower into a frozen tundra was not fun.
-Noteworthy- The bathroom downstairs from the lobby

We stayed at Tryp for a concert and really enjoyed it! The hotel was in walking distance to the prudential center and the street felt relatively safe to walk. Parking was a little confusing (it was our first time using a paid valet parking lot so maybe that's just us) parking was $20 a night. I did like that it was a guarded parking lot though. The hotel is very fun and hip! Rooms are on the smaller side but clean and updated. It was one of the comfiest bed I have EVER slept on!! To go up the elevators you need a room key (I saw some older reviews saying security was lacking but it seems they

I haven't stayed at the rooms here but I had the food at the restaurant and it was delicious. Wings were so tasty, calamari crispy, and the sweet potato fries almost knocked me out of my chair lol they were SO GOOD. The bartenders were very nice and made great drinks. I felt like I was in the city, if that gives you an idea of the vibe. Very modern meets chic. I will definitely be back!

Came here for a Holiday party. Thank goodness for the company I kept otherwise I wouldn't have had such a good evening
First off the service at the bar was mega slow. It was free juice and wine but it seemed as if those that were actually paying for hard liquor were attended to faster. My Colleague and I literally stood standing there for 15 min before we were served and that is only because we hailed down one of the servers otherwise nada. There were 3 ladies and a gentlemen behind the bar. He was working the most and tried to move quickly while the ladies were busy doing something else

Pro's:
Nice clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, and quiet rooms.
It's very close to Newark Airport, and convenient to get in and out of Manhattan. Newark Penn Station is about an 8 minute walk away (the train ride into Manhattan is about 20-30 minutes), and the hotel also has free shuttles to Newark Penn Station every 30 minutes.
Free hotel shuttle to the Newark airport every 30 minutes as well.
Blackout blinds in the room to block out the city lights.
In room safe, Keurig coffee maker, and a really decent sized mini fridge in the room.

Very beautiful hotel. Located in the midst of everything to do in the city. Walking distance from the train station, Prudential center, barcade, some ramen places and other great eats. The rooms are quite spacious and modern. You can buy snacks from downstairs ranging from $1.50- 3.00. chips, candy, water, sodas, yoohoo and some toiletries. Checking was easy and there is a shuttle available every 30 minutes to take you the airport or train station. Ice machine on each floor to the left of the elevator. Breakfast is $14.95, there is a variety of items... decent if you don't wanna walk around

Beautiful hotel! My wife and I were visiting for Thanksgiving and stumbled across Tryp by Wyndham. Downtown Newark, NJ is looking real good these days. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. The decor is very unique and creative. The murals of celebrities on each floor is also a great touch. We entered the king room and were taken aback from the beautiful decor inside. The bathroom is everything! The shower head, wand etc were made by Kohler and were very modern! The vanity mirror was also something I would have in my home. We appreciated how there is no carpet in the room. There is a simple rug

This newly renovated hotel was very clean. It has a cool charm to it. The location is okay. It's not the best neighborhood but there is worse around. They have an on sight restaurant which is pretty pricy but there are some cheaper options as well.
If you're going to New York you can take the Path Train from Penn Station which is just a 10 minute walk away.
Parking was $20 which was a bit steep.
