After using employer provided health insurance and seeing quite a few big name "primary care" providers around Jacksonville, I finally gave them up, especially when a Baptist P C office on Gate Pkwy had nerve to charge "new patient" fee for an annual exam, which should be covered by insurance that I paid tens of thousands dollars every year.
Dr. Truty presents true professionalism, efficiency and CARE of a physician, a MD. No bureaucracy, no months faraway appointment. One of the best family doctors!

Dr. Truty is a caring physician who works very hard to help me with my back problems and other issues . I love that she takes an integrative approach to medical care by balancing between Western medicine and holistic path. Her acupuncture helped relieve my symptoms within a few sessions. Someone from a well-known clinic in Jacksonville recommended Balanced Physician Care to my mom for acupuncture treatment. I have been a patient here for years now and have had nothing but a positive experience at this practice . Sharyl truty is absolutely amazing and actually cares about my personal well being . The staff is also very friendly and helpful and always very clean! I’m a client at a business that shares a parking lot with this business. I arrived to an appointment not realizing that the offices had newly painted the unit numbers on the spots and accidentally parked in a spot for the wrong unit. For years, this has never been the case. I left my car on with my 13 year old daughter inside because she asked if she could wait on me and eat her lunch. As my daughter is waiting, one of the male employees comes up to my car banging on the window, yelling at my CHILD to move the car. Dr. Truty is an outstanding and an always "present" Physician. We have so many stories we can share about her unique and caring ways but one that I will always remeber was when she took my wife's panic call middle of February on a Saturday evening coming from out of town regarding our daughter's severe flu like symptoms. She gave us instructions to help her get through the night, and even called us the same day for follow up. She met us first thing the following day which was a Sunday!

This is what medicine should be. Balanced Physician Care makes you feel like a well cared for person. You aren't treated like a number. My concerns were addressed in a way that was stress free.
Before Balanced Physician Care, I would delay seeking treatment until I felt that a doctor visit would be worth the money I'd have to pay. Balanced Physician Care's price transparency takes away the fear of cost and allows me to seek treatment whenever I need it. I have always felt like I can ask Dr. Truty anything at anytime--and know that she genuinely cares. Well done Balanced Physician Care!

I’m usually hesitant about going to the doctor due to my experiences with other doctors in the past but Dr Truty and her staff are beyond incredible! Most doctors will rush through your appointment spending MAYBE 10 minutes with you but not Dr Truty! She took the time to listen to all of my concerns and she works with you to make a care plan that works best for you! I’ve seen Dr. Truty for both primary care and acupuncture & I couldn’t ask for a better doctor! 10 out of 10!!!

I highly recommend Dr Truty for acupuncture and all your medical needs. She is very professional, caring, attentive and thorough. Her office environments is receptive, comfortable and relaxing. She is also very LGBTQ friendly and informed.
