Otter Creek Campground, bordering both the Susquehanna River and Otter Creek, offers campers 89 spacious sites on thirty four tranquil acres of gorgeous woodland. The campground is open April - October. We are in full operation from mid-April to mid-October. In addition to water and electric campsites, we feature a boat launch and picnic area along the Susquehanna River, as well as miles of hiking trails. Day visitors pay parking fee at the camp store. Picnic tables and grills are available along with a play area. As this is a campground surrounded by nature you will encounter wildlife of all kinds.

We had 2 great camping weekends in 2021 and look forward to booking in 2022! The campground is quiet and relaxed. Scott and Mandy could not be more accommodating or helpful! Camp store has lots of essentials and is well stocked.
The only negatives: The drive to get in is not the easiest and some of the spots are tight to back into. Once you are in the sites they are spacious, just be sure to bring leveling blocks/boards as the campground is very hilly.
5 stars to Otter Creek!

Beware. This campground has many rutted, narrow roads with potholes to boot. The site we were given (81) was a pull-through, however, extremely unlevel. The majority of the sites looked unlevel. We attempted for 2 hours to level our Class C (32') with no luck. We asked to be moved which was a "no, we've had bigger units than yours on that site before." There were plenty of empty sites. We continued to move the RV all around searching for a more level spot; eventually busted a hydraulic line on our automatic leveling system which was the icing on the cake. We called another

I want to give this campground four stars but there are too many things there that need maintaining and upgrading. First, the plus side. The campground is wooded, with rolling hills and good-sized sites. There are electric hook-ups and water at all sites, plus a convenient dump station. The office has camping items and Turkey Hill ice cream! Communication with the office was very good. There was a downed tree on the highway leading up to the campground. Mandy made sure we knew about it before we arrived and emailed us during our stay to let us know when it was cleared. We appreciated that!

Nice little campground! We enjoyed our weekend stay. Communication from the start to the finish was on point. The site we had was on just enough of a hill we had trouble getting the camper level. But besides that, everything else was great! It's a small campground but the spots are just far enough away from other campers and have good tree coverage to give some privacy. We liked the nature trail to the creek. There's a park and playground at the front of the campground. There are toilets (they don't flush) and coin operated showers. Everything seemed well maintained. The staff was very friendly

Have not been here in years but went to the camp store for some supply’s the other week when we were out boating. Staff was super helpful and easy going. Camp ground looks to be in nice shape and much what I remembered as a kid. If you have a boat and want to camp not a bad place to be!

Best get-away in york County! Scott and Mandy are the most amazing people in the world. Before you even get to your site they treat you like you've been friends forever! Them and their small team work hard to keep this wonderful camp CLEAN and MAINTAINED! We have made this our go to campground! The seasonal campers are just as welcoming and friendly. If you don't visit otter Creek you truly are missing one of the most beautiful landscapes york has to offer just off the trials throughout the campground!

Great place to get away to. Looking forward to hopefully getting a permanent site with them. Between the playground and walking through the campground with a good atmosphere of people, you can easily tire your kids out.

Absolutely wonderful!! The campground was well maintained, the staff/management were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the other campers always had a smile on their faces. It was our first time ever camping with a trailer and they even took time out of their morning to teach us how to empty the tanks when we checked out. They made our first trailer camping experience perfect!!

Happy Memorial Day! Beautiful campground that sits along Otter Creek ( guess what- No Otters), which feeds into the Susquehanna River. Boat launches, Mason-Dixon Trail, waterfalls and picnic areas. The campsites are very roomy with many pull through sites. Bring extra hose as the electric and water are not located near each other.
We drove to the Conowingo Dam MD to see dozens of Eagles 🦅. Also the Indian Steps is very interesting.
The Honey Wagon was not working but there is a dump station. Despite the rain , we enjoyed our stay!

Nice and quiet campground with spacious sites. We had a great semi secluded site with plenty of trees between us and our neighbors. The bathrooms were also very clean.

Although the owner was very nice, and the location by Lake Aldred was great considering our love of kayaking, the upper roads and campsites were very tight and you are right on top of your neighbors. Our site was on a steep hill that required lots of extra blocking under the hitch, one tire, and front stabilizers just to get it level and this left the back bumper almost on the ground. The sites on the lower loops and by the playground are more spread out and the sites wider and more level.
The prices are not bad but there are little extra fees that you don't find out until you get there, such

We are heading home after 3 great days at Otter Creek. This campground has a very layed back feel with so many friendly people. Though there are more seasonal people then short term, we were welcomed by all. Some seasonal guest put on an amazing fireworks show over the 4th holiday too! And there were lots of fun activities all weekend.
The bath houses were very clean and the coin operated showers were very easy to use. The general store had everything you could need and even hand dipped Turkey Hill ice cream, yum! The managers Mandy and Scott are so sweet and really take care of the grounds. Thanks

Been here a couple of times and will return. Very nice managers that live on site. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay, this is it. Bring some blocks with you because you need to do a bit of leveling, for it is on a hillside, but no big deal. Water and electric hook ups at every site (30 amp). Not sure about 50 amp. Also there are nice hiking trails along the 2 creeks that fow on either side of the campground with waterfalls. Acoss the road is the Susquehanna River, also known as Lake Aldred.
