Red Run Campground
Red Run Campground is a friendly family campground located in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, where "Camping Among Mennonite Farms" is truly descriptive of your camping experience. In fact, you are likely to encounter our Mennonite and Amish neighbors as they pass right through the campground in their horse-drawn vehicles.

Each of our campsites includes a picnic table, fire ring, water, and electricity for tents and all styles of RV's. The campground offers a full range of features and amenities, but we think that you will agree that the nicest features are your fellow campers and the caring hospitality of your hosts.

Made reservation in May for our extended weekend in August 20th thru the 23rd, which we had to pre-pay for at time of reservation. They called us at 8:30pm on the 19th left a message and stated their campground had been flooded and our reservation was being cancelled and they were offering us a rain check . I phoned on the 20th to receive a refund of the $96 we were charged and the gal stated that their policy was to only offer rainchecks. She said that she felt the owners were being "more than courteous in offering a rain check because they didn't have to." So they are refusing to refund our money

We were there on August 18th when the campground was flooded. Thank God for the Mennonites across the road. He is the one who came knocking on our camper door around 11pm to tell us that we needed to get out ASAP. We were already in about 3 inches of water. We've been staying here for about 12 years. Since the new people took over it has went to hell. I would have thought they would have to sort of way to notify the camper if the water is rising. We left after us about a dozen of camper stay the night at the Mennonites church. Call back on sun to cancel your stay in Sept. Was told by a very rude

Great place friendly staff. Pool was closed because of part breaking but there is a creek that runs through that you can go in. My Grandson loved it playing with our dog in the water.

Friendly staff. Due to mother nature, we weren't able to camp this weekend. But the owner was nice enough to give us a rain check, so we can enjoy this wonderful campground at a later date. We would recommend this campground to anyone. Thanks Red Run staff

The only "great" thing about this place are the creekside sites. They dont take care of their property. Broken benches and chairs around the pool. Light bulbs are blown out and not replaced. It is extremely dark at night, no path lights and barely any lighting around the bath house. The deck on the lake isnt maintained. The railing around it is broken in multiple places and not safe for small children. Also, most sites do not have stone, so when it rains, you are just sitting in a big mud puddle.

Great place to camp with friends and family! Muddy Creek is fun for the kids and great for warmer days. Pond is beautiful as well as and fun for fishing. If you planning to us their bathroom facilities its 50/50. If they kept up on those (mens room particularly) I would have given it a 5 star allday. Also can be very wet around your site for a few days after raining. Water just puddles up.

Didn’t even have a chance to stay. Please be aware of making reservations. Charge $10 to cancel. Read all of their policies and fees ect. Made and cancelled reservation the same day. They charged me a $10 processing fee. Wouldn’t want to stay somewhere that does business this way any way. Read prior reviews before booking! Not the best customer service when on the phone either. Lesson learned.

It was a very nice stay. We choose a place along the creek which was enough to occupy the children almost the whole time.

We stayed a week this summer & had a great site next to the creek. Site was large & neat. Th Amish came by on Sat. AM selling breads & woopy pies. The only reason I can not give them 5 stars is the wifi is the worst I have ever seen. The wifi is so weak that I could not keep connected sitting on the store porch 10' from the wifi antenna & still would not work. They need to drop the wifi or do a major upgrade to fix the problem. We are planning to return next summer even with the bad wifi.

We stayed 2 nights, our site #46 is huge, we could fit another RV in for sure. We are backed onto the river & it's really clean. Good for a bit of a dip or a fish. The pool is big & full of kids. That's not a bad thing, just not my thing. Hahaha the staff are friendly, the shop im has some really good local icecream. But for me watching the Amish ride past in their horse & buggies is just cool as. Great spot & our site was $40 a night. So worth it

The campground was gorgeous just tight spots for the trailers. I loved the Halloween costume contest and the trick or treating it made the entire place feel like home.

Great park for tent campers and campers. They have 5 or 6 sites to accommodate class a or b over 30ft. Sites are on the small side. No sewage, the offer a service to remove waste.
Good plase to camp for a couple days in larger rigs. Clean Campground, in the middle of dairy frame and Amish. You can hear the clickety clack of horses hooves as the buggies pass by.
Don't take Mountain Church road there are a few low lying trees. Red Run to Mountain rd is the safer bet.

The pros: clean campground, friendly staff, pool, large pond, firewood available on site, large bathrooms which are always kept clean, septic pump out available!

The cons: located near a cow pasture... Smells travel, campsites are small.
