My cakes are scrumptious, moist, and full of flavor and will have you reaching for another slice.
While we recommend at least 2-3 weeks in advance for customized orders, we may be able to accommodate your order with short notice. Please keep in mind that your order is not booked until payment is made. The Minimum order for cakes is $75.00 and for Mini's & Cupcakes the minimum is $72.00. We work on a first come, first serve basis and priority booking goes to our paying customers.

We've used JD many times over the years to create custom cakes that are just as delicious as they are amazing. This years milestone birthday for my husband required a specific segment of nostalgia- The Thundercats! Hoooooo! Hahaha! We recommended JD at Let ' em Eat Cake with 5 Stars. I think I may have enjoyed this one as much as the birthday boy!

Unfortunately if that was the Mgr that took my call, was very disappointing. Bigtime unprofessional attitude after explaining what I needed. Very high price for simple 8' cake and delivery fee just a few blocks away.
Was glad that I was able to find another bakery near that accommodated my order and saved the day.

Jeffrey has made my birthday cake for the past 5 years. I look forward to it every year and there is a reason we continue to go back to him! He always does a beautiful job! The cake is absolutely moist and delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him!

This cactus themed cake was perfect for a birthday trip to Joshua Tree. This cake also tasted SOOOOOO yummy. It was dark chocolate fudge and had a subtle hint of cherry. Highly recommend it! We all really enjoyed this cake- and thank you so much to Jeffrey for baking it in short notice. It's the talking point of the trip and will definitely be calling Let Em Eat Cake in the future!

The cake was amazing! The taste was great, the filling and buttermilk frosting were delicious! He did a wonderful job at decorating the cake exactly the way I envisioned it and worked me time wise since this was a last minute order. My boyfriend ordered a custom cake to surprise me for my birthday. He wanted it to be a cake of my cat, and even sent in multiple pictures. He had his friend pick up the cake because we were out doing birthday shenanigans, otherwise he would not have accepted it.
The cake looks like something from a child's nightmare. I understand that making a cat is more difficult than a normal cake, but the baker should have apologized and offered some sort of compensation, not just sent the cake out like it was some sort of masterpiece.

We were super impressed with Jeffery's talent and his quick service! We contacted the bakery and he was able to complete our gender reveal cake in a day! This baker was fantastic. I ordered a cake that serves 50 people for a baby shower, cost was $175.00. The cake was beautifully done and amazing in taste. The cake was chocolate with a chocolate mousse filling. Yet, we all could taste a cherry flavor in the cake that made it amazing. I even got comments days later after the party about how amazing the cake was.
This baker doesn't have a shop and bakes out of his home. If this doesn't bother you then I would highly recommend this baker. This baker is 5 star experience!

I submitted a birthday cake request inquiry via the website and received an email on 10/2 asking for more details. I provided all details on the same day. I didn't hear back, so I sent a follow up email on 10/9 asking if he is able to accommodate. Crickets. I sent another email today (10/22) and asked if he is able to make the cake or not. I called Wednesday and ordered a vanilla cake with a strawberry compote filling. The shape of the cake was the shape of a Don Julio 1942 tequila bottle. Jeffrey told me he it was kind of last minute, but he would take my order, even though I needed it that following Saturday. I thanked him, paid fully IN ADVANCE, and went on with my day.

For the same design and size, other places would have charged me up to twice as much.

Jeffrey was amazing professional, very artistic in fulfilling my son's request. He has an egg allergy and was so touched to get a chance to enjoy a birthday cake, because Jeffrey was able to make egg-free cake. Not any place can do such a great job (and be flexible with time) and make it eggless. This place is truly unique so going back again this year and plan to always come to Jeffrey for cake requests for such occasions!

Jeffrey did an amazing job baking and designing my daughter's and mother's cake. I am from out of town in the Palm Springs area and was visiting SD for a double birthday weekend getaway. I called him about 2.5 weeks in advance for the order and I highly recommend doing business with him. Not only did he meet my expectations but he went above and beyond them. The chocolate cake was light and fluffy, the buttercream frosting was smooth and melted in my mouth and the raspberry filling was phenomenal. Thank you Jeffrey for making this weekend special!

I've used Jeffrey's services twice. First time, was for my Peter Rabbit theme baby shower in March of 2017, second was my sons 1st birthday in April the following year themed hungry Caterpillar. The flavors he presented himself with were amazing. The freshest and tastiest flavors I've ever had, always top shelf. I always had a picture of what I was Looking for & both times he exceed my expectations. Side note I cant stand sweets; ice cream, cakes, cookies you name it, but I couldn't resist. I had a couple slices of these babies.

Jeffrey created an amazing retirement "shirt cake" for my husband's roast. Everyone loved it and was so impressed that they all asked for the name of the bakery. The detailing on the shirt, walkie talkie, and handcuffs was so fun to look at. The flag background was such a special touch: Jeffrey really went the extra mile.

There are so many good things running in my mind when it comes to this business(See the photo I posted and you'll know why I am so smitten by this business) .Jeffrey runs the business out of his home, he is a certified home baker. He has a good website where you can explore products and fill out a form requesting a quote. I filled out the online quote form and then had the rest of the conversation with Jeffrey on phone since I was in a rush.

These guys did horrible!
On a very special day, they messed up my cake order.
They were so eager to collect the payment from me but not eager to spell the cake right.
I text messaged the exact text to write and they still messed it up big time!
The reason for buying a custom cake is to make the person feel special. Instead, she felt horrible and ruined the party.
