Julie is a food lover that likes to please others. After going to Design School back in Sao Paulo, Brazil and moved to California, she found herself in love with baking and decorating cakes. Moving to a new country that is known for its fast food restaurants, made her change habits. Julienne Cakes was created to bring more pleasure, joy and fun to the table.
Julienne cakes doesn't repeat or copy any other artist designs, neither the designs from Julienne portfolio. After reviewing all the details and understanding your style, we start sketching your dream cake. Tasting fee is $100 which will be deducted from the final quote if you decide to proceed and book Julienne's services.

This was hands down the best cake I've ever tried. It was a Brazilian-style cake with brigadeiro. This is a late review from my birthday last year. I went to order a second cake this year, and unfortunately, Julienne no longer bakes at my price range. However, that being said, if you're getting married and spending wedding prices on a cake, go with this place! OMG, I am so sad that I most likely will never be able to try these cakes again! I don't even necessarily love cake, but Julienne basically bakes an addiction. Congrats on your success! Also, my cake was stunning!!

This review is for Julie! I was lucky enough to have her make my birthday cake this year, and it might just be the most beautiful cake I've laid my eyes on. Everything was a breeze with Julie, from the communication to her accommodating the details I wanted for my cake. The day of my event, we picked up the cake and I was in awe of how amazing it looked. First of all Julienne is awesome and a pleasure to work with on your ideas for the cake design you have in mind. In my case it was a birthday cake for my girlfriend. My girlfriend wanted a particular flavor of cake, in this case strawberries and cream, and I had some ideas on the theme of the cake or the look. Julie took my ideas and married the flavors that I wanted with her own design aesthetic. I also called her up on a Tuesday and needed the cake on Thursday (typical guy), and she was able to accommodate my timeframe and actually got it to me early. She did a great job, the cake looked

I originally tried her cake at The Big Fake Wedding about a month ago and the Tiramisu flavor was SO good! I needed a very special cake for my daughter's birthday and reached out to Julie based just on the Yelp reviews I read online as I tried a couple of local bakeries and was told I didn't have enough advance notice for them (2 weeks wasn't enough!!). Julie answered me right away and offered to do it and I couldn't have been happier with how BEAUTIFUL and PROFESSIONAL of a cake creation she made - blew my daughter and her friends away. I ordered a semi-naked cake for a friend's baby shower. Julie responded to my initial inquiry right away and was able to create a beautiful cake for the shower. It was a white/vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream inside. Everyone at the shower kept commenting on how beautiful the cake was - and it was SO good! I'm so happy I found Julie when I was looking for a cake vendor for my friends gender reveal party. I wanted a very simple and elegant design with an hombre pink filling (unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the filling) and it looked just beautiful on the dessert table! Also, it tasted amazing! I told Julie I dont want it too be too sweet and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend Julie to anybody!!

I ordered a custom cake for a pre-wedding celebration and can confidently say it was one of the best things I've ever eaten.
I gave very vague direction (I'm no chef) and Julie was able to run with the ideas and create a masterpiece that looked like it was delivered straight out of a cooking magazine. I could never have imagined that it would be so beautiful (we were almost sad to eat it...almost).
Our group had tons of food-related activities planned for the weekend and the cake was the highlight. Hands down game over.
All too often I've had pastries at events that look amazing

Wow! There is so much I could say but I will keep it straight to the point. Julie is the most talented Chef I have ever met, I mean she can bake and make literally anything you want. I have ordered, seen and tried multiple of her creations and there has not been a single one that haven't left me not wanting to get more. Seriously, be careful, this stuff is addicting!
She is very conscious and extremely creative. Her design skills are out of this world, she treats these cakes like they are sculptures and everyone that I know that have tried her cakes, they also ended up trying to figure out

I couldn't have been happier with how my Honeybee cake turned out for my friends birthday last weekend! The owner listened to what I wanted and used her creative genius to design an absolutely unique and gorgeous cake for the bday girl. I gave her the main points of what I wanted and she took my idea and ran with it! The flavors were on point (caramel filling, toffee bits )and she added some delicious lemon bars on top of it that made for an overall great experience with Honeybee Baking!
