My name is Chelsea and I am the founder of Storybook Preschool and Daycare. I started my career working with children at Growing with Pride Daycare for 8 years. This motivated me to open up my own daycare facilities with the focus of stimulating the minds of young children using the S.T.E.A.M program, which nurtures the whole child and supports their social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth, while providing for a warm, safe and friendly environment to grow.

Services
These precautions are to protect children and daycare providers from spreading illness or other conditions. Pink eye: Children not allowed to attend daycare and may return after 48hrs once treatment has begun and the redness and drainage has seized. Strep Throat: Children not allowed to attend daycare and may return after 48hrs once treatment has begun.
To ensure the safety of all the children we practice evacuation drills once a month. This will prepare the children in the event of an emergency evacuation, such as fire, earthquake, and potential lock-down. If an emergency evacuation is necessary away from the daycare facility, Children and Teachers will relocate at the Lake Oswego Balahi Center, 16103 SW Lake Forest Blvd.

Chelsea, the owner of this daycare, is just one of those people that dedicates her life to the kids. The art projects they do always impress me!! I can't believe kids this young can learn so much!! She's an absolutely amazing teacher, I wish I had gone to her daycare as a kid!

As a parent we constantly think about the safety and well being of our children. When the time comes to send our child to a preschool to prepare them for the bright future ahead of them it can be confusing and overwhelming to say the least! Countless daycare and preschool centers are in our area but instead we drive our son to Lake Oswego every day with a smile on our face and peace of mind because this is NOT the typical daycare or preschool we have come to know in our society!

My wife and I have been taking our kids to StoryBook DayCare for a couple of years now, we would highly recommend StoryBook DayCare to anyone seeking daycare. Both of our kids love going to see Chelsea. Not only did they make great lil daycare friends but they also learned a lot too! Chelsea is great at getting the kids to learn while they play!

First time ever having my 3 1/2 year old go to daycare/school. The experience has exceeded my expectations. Chelsea is a gem! My child is happy to go and I love that he is learning thru the S.T.E.A.M. philosophy. I feel blessed and thankful to have found Storybook. I offer the highest recommendation for Storybook preschool/daycare. Caring for our children is the greatest of all work and Storybook does an excellent job, fun and stimulating! BRAVO

Chelsea is an extremely passionate teacher and cares genuinely about the kids she cares for in her current Oregon City location! Her curriculum is very educational and engaging with kids of all ages and her creativity is endless with new crafts and projects.
Her new facility in Lake Oswego will be opening mid-late SEP and will have openings for most ages with this larger facility.

Chelsea G. provides exemplary care and education for my son. He delights in seeing her and his friends at the OR City Storybook Daycare, as his days include fun ways to learn, taking walking adventures, playing in the yard when weather permits, and arts and crafts to bring home and share.

We absolutely LOVED having our kids here. They still talk about all of the friends they made and projects they did. They adored the teachers...we still visit from time to time just to say hello. I loved that they spent time outside being kids regardless of the weather...in the yard...on nature walks, at the playground...so much fun! They did fun and different art projects and experiments. I would recommend Storybook's fun, loving, encouraging daycare to anyone.

I wish all teachers teaching in public schools and day care centers could see what Chelsea does for her kids at Storybook Day Care it would be every teachers dream to be able to do that for there kids. She cares for her kids education and well being , she makes sure every day is exciting and a great learning experience. My great grand child has been with storybook day care for close to two years now and let me tell you my great grand child and all of her kids love her and respect her and come home excited . Chelsea is one of the most creative and engaging teachers I have ever seen. She has a true passion for working with kids and it clearly shows. Our children have been in the care of Chelsea at Storybook Daycare for about a year and a half. The level of care she provides is exceptional. She interacts with the children in a structured preschool-like environment and always has them doing new art projects/experiments and learning activities throughout the entire day. When the weather permits she takes the kids on field trips to the water park, fire station, library, park etc. Or they are playing outside on the play structure or riding scooters and bikes. The kids have a great time and really enjoy being there! She has a very detailed weekly
