I am changing my review they asked me to do since they are trying to bill be for procedures they said my insurance covered and now they are saying they don't cover it. My insurance says I am not liable for the charges but it looks like it's going to be a fight since subsequent discussions fell on mute ears. If it ends up it is not a fight. I will review my changes.....

This doctor is terrible...I saw him a few years ago ...he was pushy ...he wasn't very nice and then eight months later tried to bill me something that he shouldn't have billed me for ... and that is per the insurance company. I've been fighting for over two years with the collection agency and credit bureau because of him. I refuse to pay some thing that I should not pay for. I suggest to go someplace else....He sent me for an MRI of my knee which my orthopedic surgeon thought was ridiculous because it was already full of metal.... And he was very rude and arrogant.....Multiple

When I went to see Dr.Vengurlekar, I was looking at hip replacement, but just could not bring myself to make that decision. My friend suggested Dr. V. Four injections in my back and one Stem Cell injection in my hip, I am no longer in pain, and I don' t limp anymore. I can' t say enough about Dr.Vergurlekar, I call him the miracle man.

Dr. Vengulekar treated me for low back pain ten years ago, after I had had a major fall resulting in 3 herniated discs. After having been in bed for months, selective root sleeve injections and a nerve ablation procedure left me completely pain free. I have been able to hike, swim, play tennis, and resume a physically active life.

He knows his stuff and is direct with you as the patient, they got me scheduled and in right away. He and his staff are very friendly and efficient. Having issues with both knees finally lead to consultations with Orthopedic Surgeons, both of which recommended replacement. Not wanting to go through a low rehab, I consulted with Dr. Vengurlekar, whom I knew through one of his patients. Dr. Vengurlekar has helped me with back pain management since 2016. My first encounter solved the pain I had on the right side lower back and I didn't need to return until 2019 to solve the left side. Dr. V was good at explaining my issue and the procedure to relieve my pain.

Dr. Vengurlekar is excellent! He was able to diagnose my back and neck issue at the first visit. Staff is friendly and made me an appointment the next day. I had my procedure the same week.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However my visit was a waste of time. I have Cigna through my work. I made an appointment. Took time off work to be seen. Only to be told that Cigna hasnt paid the doctor in over 3 years. (The doctor told me this). As he was skimming through my chart..He then told me since i was there he would go ahead and see me.
I was sent to this doctor by my cigna case management department.
It not only put me in an akward position, it left me with an extreme sense of hopelessness.

I saw Dr. Vengurlekar a few years back, I had a bulging disc. I went in for injections and had bad results after each treatment. He would never speak to me when I addressed these issues with him, would only speak to my husband. After the injections, my legs would be paralyzed for some time. While he may be knowledgeable and have the tools to treat pain, he is extremely rude and does not accept opinions or recommendations on how to treat. I'm a first medical school student with enough knowledge to understand the anatomy of my pain. I asked him to include a C3 injection and he stated "if you don't like what I'm doing you can go see someone else." All I did was ask. Quick Summary: Imaging walking out of the procedure room after having torn up L4, L5, and S1 ... and having no pain when only 15 minutes prior you cried inching your way to the office... I am in the healthcare industry and work with a lot of different pain doctors. When my partner hurt his back and couldn't get out of pain - Dr. V was the only person I would even consider taking him to. Sure enough - with a selective nerve injection - a 15 minute, non-invasive procedure (non-invasive procedure = no cuts in the skin at all - not to be confused with minimally invasive) he was able to walk out
