Yes we do all the general dentistry and cosmetic treatments that other dentist do.
TMJ pain can be a huge limitation on your life. Many patients suffer for far too long because the symptoms are confusing-often vague and diffuse. Studies show that 70% of the world population have at least one symptom of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and 12% of the population suffer with severe TMJ symptoms everyday.
Our top priority is your comfort. We understand that for many patients, a visit to the dentist can cause anxiety, trigger a phobia, or remind you of past trauma. Sedation Dentistry is a powerful way to overcome dental phobia. Our philosophy towards comfort starts with listening and building trust. As a top sedation dentist you have the option of a fleet of sedation dentistry options.
Referring dentists are welcome to refer patients to our office. We accept referrals for complex cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, and IV sedation dentistry. If you would like us to call you before treatment, please let us know. We are happy to perform comprehensive care, or treat for a specific referral and refer back to you for comprehensive care.
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation to get to know you, and for you to get to know us. First and foremost, we want to understand your concerns and goals. If possible please complete your new patient registration one day prior to your appointment. Typically you should plan for 60 to 90 minutes for your first visit at our office.

I have a crippling fear of the dentist, but Dr. Sutera and his whole team go to great lengths to make every visit as calm and comfortable as possible. The facilities are really up to date and comfortable, and Dr. Sutera encourages questions and is happy to take as many breaks as I need (I do all my general dentistry here). I'm so lucky to be a patient in this practice. I drive from Boston to Waltham to see them, and I would drive three times as far if I needed to.

Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly! They genuinely want to take care of you and their recommendations are what fits you best not what’s best for the business (unlike the previous dental office I was at)! Thank you everyone for your help, care, recommendations and never thought I’d say It but I’m looking forward to my dental visit to repair my teeth! In need of a lot of dental work and being absolutely petrified of dentist (the result of childhood experiences), I found Dr. Sutera of Aesthetic Smile Reconstruction through prayer and many Google searches.
Before my first visit, I corresponded with Ashley who answered the many, many questions I had both before and after my visit. Her warmth, patience and understanding of my specific fears helped at a time when all three were needed.

Let me start by saying I honestly don’t write many reviews unless I feel the place really deserves it....that being said this place is great and I highly recommend it!! I am someone who has always struggled with anxiety about the dentist and from the moment I made a phone call to Dr. Sutera’s office I felt at ease.
Everyone in the office is super nice and helpful starting with Ashley at front desk. She is quick to answer emails and is helpful with anything you need.

I had my initial consultation and was very impressed. The office is very calming and everyone was poised to put me at ease. I wish I could say I'm looking forward to my treatment but it truly will be the best place have my fears and dental issues addressed.
Since my first post I have had several appointments. I was right, this practice is the best place for me. Kindness, genuine concern and personal attention give me strength to return and continue treatment. I highly recommend!

A tear-free dentist visit = priceless. First time in my adult life I didn't cry at the dentist. Sever phobia and TMJ disorder kept me from going to the dentist for years. Finally: a dentist who is gentle, patient, understanding and knowledgeable. I feel like I finally have a "plan" for going forward! He hasn't even done anything to my teeth except x-rays & photos and I already feel better LOL! Thank you, Dr. Sutera and Wendyanne, for making me feel so comfortable, safe, calm and relieved.
