Arrived 10 minutes early to my 8am appt to be told that it was moved to 8:45 without notifying me. I have a confirmation email from yesterday saying 8am as well, which they could still see in their system. I was then told I could do half of the appointment or reschedule as they couldn't complete the appointment within an hour. I got rescheduled to October. This is the second time my appointment has been rescheduled. I was also asked if I had filled out new patient paperwork online- no one told me to do so, and it does not say anything about new patient paperwork online in the confirmation

Great appt. had a broken tooth. Painful and afraid. Dr Atkins was really helpful. Understood my pain and understood my perspective. He took care of the initial problem right away and scheduled an appt for next week for more of a resolution. It was almost as if he could feel my pain and fright and treated accordingly with minimal expense. He understood It's not something I want to pay a carload of money for. Get it done without pain and huge expense. I am relieved to find someone I can trust.

Saw Dr Atkins and staff for a new patient appointment. Great experience from scheduling through cleaning and dentist's check up. Staff are super friendly and helpful. My appointment was originally a few weeks out but I was called with an opening within a week of scheduling and got in right away. Glad I found this practice!

After being told I needed my molar pulled out, i went for another eval and not only did they save the tooth, my root canal was bomb and my crown is on the way! Thank you for saving my tooth!!

Dr. John Atkins is an exceptionally talented dentist. His approach to dentistry is gentle with no pain. He's amazing!

The front desk staff is rude. dr. Kelly is young and has no clue what she’s doing. She rushes through appointments, and doesn’t communicate with the hygienist. She missed that I had a cavity that the hygienist noticed. She did such a horrible job on my filling , I felt it and she had to give me Novocain twice in the middle of the procedure?!!! I had a panic attack and couldn’t breathe. The whole thing was Traumatizing and it hurt and she didn’t care. When I asked the office staff to go through insurance and bill with me, they were so rude. Dr. John is the most wonderful dentist and kindest individual I have ever met. Same goes for his assistant Susie. I had gone to them for over 25 years. But i have had to move on because of unfavorable changes in the office now. I know I'll never find a caring, professional dentist like Dr. John ever again.

I have been seeing the staff at Smile and Skin for a couple of years now and I have never been to a more professional office in my life. From the front desk, to the assistants, to the hygienists, to the doctors and specialists, they are all very qualified at what they do. I have had to have a lot of dental work done, from basic cleanings, to extractions and gum surgery and it was nice to not have to be referred out to another office and to have all of my services done in one office. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great team of dentists and specialists.

I've been a long time patient of Dr Meola and have recommended a handful of people to him. He is great with his patients and takes the time to explain treatment if any is needed. What's great about the office is that if you need extensive dental work, his specialists are all in one office. I have recently taken my kids here for their cleanings and my 5 year old son had a filling with Dr Konfino and she did such a great job with him. I have been going to Dr. John for about 12 years. He is really great. I am what I would describe as a "bad" patient - a ball of nerves - but he is very good at putting even skittish patients like me at ease. I have had my teeth cleaned by both Kristen and Brandy and both are fantastic hygienists. They are very, very careful to avoid causing pain or discomfort which is my primary concern due to receding gums and uber-sensitive teeth as a result. I have been seeing Dr. Meola for several years now. I have always had great experiences with cleanings and it is great that all of his specialists are in that location (I am on the older side and traveling from office to office is too much). Recently Dr. Meola starting offering BOTOX which is great because as I get older, I want to look how I feel. Overall, I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a great local dentist.
