Student Choice High School has been established to serve the needs of a variety of learners. We provide an intimate setting with a student to staff ratio of 15:1 where our staff and student performance continue to gain momentum in our pursuit of education excellence. The environment we have created is conducive to students who are having difficulty finding success in a traditional school setting.

Services
SCHS understands that students learn differently and should be allowed to work at a pace specific to their needs. Here at Student Choice High School, we provide students with an alternative approach to traditional high school. Our students receive individualized instruction in an environment conducive to focused learning as well as ongoing communication from their instructors.
For more than 15 years, Student Choice High School has helped students in danger of not graduating. Hundreds of students have received their diploma because of the education, flexible scheduling, and ability to make up classes and move at their own pace. Through our Credit Recovery Program, students who have dropped out of school and wish to return can make up classes and receive a diploma.
Because Student Choice High School has open enrollment, your child can transfer to SCHS at any time throughout the school year. There is no need to wait to finish the quarter at another school. This is also noteworthy for students who have suffered an illness or have been out of school for a prolonged period of time.
The individuals on our school governing board are elected community members who volunteer their time for the benefit of our schools and the students who attend them. They assist the district in planning, budgeting, and implementing school programs and help ensure fiscal responsibility. Student Choice High School campuses offer students a learning environment and teaching style that is different from those of a traditional high school. Students access our standards-based online curriculum and participate in a self-paced, four-hour session that is facilitated by highly qualified personnel.

I will like to thank all the staff and principal of Schs of Peoria, you have helped my son achieve his high school diploma when all the odds were stacked against him, every last teacher , front office staff and even the Principal took part in helping my son become the first high school graduate in our family.
