Fall is finally in the air, along with pumpkin spice and everything nice. As we enjoy cooler temperatures, November finds us squarely in the middle of not only the autumn season, but on the back end of the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year.
We are proud that we have been able to provide in-person learning with health and safety measures in place to protect our students, staff, and their families. We have been able to offer a full sports season that continues as this month leads us into playoff competitions for those sports teams that qualify.

Services
Although formed that year, the first high school class of students didn't start until 1920 when two teachers provided instruction. Students had the opportunity to obtain the first two years of a high school education. For the eleventh and twelfth grades, students attended either Glendale Union High School or Phoenix Union High School.

Our district is currently comprised of seven high schools, plus an online high school, Tolleson Virtual High School. We take great pride in offering all students in our district many different educational opportunities. The counselors and faculty at each school work with each individual student to ensure we are meeting his or her educational needs.
We are dedicated to supporting and encouraging our students, staff, and families with a united focus on academic achievement. We hire and retain the most highly qualified teachers and staff to ensure our students receive the best learning experience possible, preparing them for college, career, and life.
The Tolleson Union High School District, long on history and rich in diversity, is home to nearly 12,000 high school students, 550 qualified teachers, 50 administrators including our superintendent, and a five-member governing board responsible for establishing policies and procedures for district governance.
