I can always trust that my pets will be taken care of by the staff at the DVH. The covid situation has their policies constantly changing but I know it's only because they have the best interests of all the animals in mind, so I have no complaints.

Our vet visit could not have went better as it is always a perfect experience when bringing Nala Rae in. I recommend you to every pet owner I know. Thank you for being such a great addition to Nala’s care team! It makes bring my fur baby in so much easier when I know she is such good hands!!! With great staff and very affordable pricing this vet and staff is amazing.

This place is HORRIBLE. I would always bring my dog here because it was recommended but NEVER AGAIN. I did a drop off and 2 hours later I called to see what was going on. Basically my dog was sitting in a kennel because dr Raymond was too busy with other appointments. Why not just have me take my dog at a later time? Second when he was ready they sent me a text with an invoice. I called to see what the doctor recommended or what he found "the doctor is busy he'll talk to you when you get here" when I get there "the doctor is busy have a seat and wait" at that point I was

Our pets are our family and going to the Vet is just like a regular doctor visit. Like when a mother takes her child for a check up. So it's hard to say this or any other vet clinic are different. It seems that in these days after COVID-19 they have the upper hand. So... If you have experienced this then you know this place is good for what you need, friendly but only from outside. You cannot go inside with your pet. I wish they would reconsider and change their rules and go back to where you can go inside with your pet at all times. Or maybe have people wear their masks and take their temperatures

Dr. Raymond and all the staff are awesome! They follow through on everything, and are very thorough with all my pets. Knowledgeable, pleasant, prices are very reasonable for the high quality of service recieved. No wonder why they're booked up for regular exams so far out. Glad to have finally found a vet office I trust.

If you care about your pet don't come here cause they don't. Came here with a cut eye on my dog and I was told to go somewhere else. They said they are backlogged 2 months!? Really a hospital? What a joke.

AMAZING PLACE. Dr Ray is the new doctor here . Downey is so lucky to have him be here. I have to drive 1 1/2 but since I don't have good honest vets in the San Gabriel Valley I have to follow him here .
prices are fair , he is straight to the point and very intelligent. He was our vet for 5 years at a different clinic.

Have called multiple times today last Friday. And nothing all calls are recorded and choices are either internet or leave a message. The customer/patient service is terrible prices have gone up and up and up and the quality of care and service mediocre. Luckily there are veterinarians around ... after 20 plus years. It's time to go somewhere else. P.D all the good reviews are sketchy!!seams to me friends of the staff!!

I was going to Primary Care vet in Long Beach and was hesitant to change the vet on my dog but boy am I glad I did. After a horrible experience at that vet I came here. Omg it was like night and day!!! They took care of my dog so well! My 3 lb chihuahua wasn't walking and the other vet didn't take care of it. He basically told me he didn't know why he wasn't walking. He had a slipped disc that the other vet missed! I had made the other vet send the X-rays over to Downey vet and Dr. Devilla was able to see that from the same X-rays they had taken at primary care. I am so grateful

Got my kitten neuter here, and they even followed up by calling to see how he was doing the next day. Love this hospital!!!!

Osito is feeling much better and very active now, after a visit with Dr Raymond for an infection. Excellent service

The technician who helped our dog daisy is so kind a gentle to our scared little girl. We have been going here for over 20 years and they are so kind and gentle to all our animals

Everyone was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my cat and improving her health. The drop off process was easy and the office updated me in a timely manner. Also Dr.Raymond was great in answering all my questions and I really appreciate him following up with me. This place truly cares about your pets like they are their own. Trustworthy and honest place all around!

It was a smooth process with the drop off and pick up of my boxer. The Dr. is conservative with his approach to his practice. I’m very happy with the quality of examination he conducted and the value as well. I highly recommend this place.

10 stars! Let me start by saying I have read some of the reviews some good some bad. Those that are bad to you I say I am sorry you had bad service cause I personally have not. This is the best, most efficient, kindest Vet I have ever been to. They follow up with you, keep you in the loop every step of the way. I brought my Itty in for surgery today and I am such a paranoid doggie Mom. She is my baby and I am a nervous wreck when I have to take her in. These nice people have put up with my crap and have been so understanding. They do not do anything without telling me first and they have been upfront

Lost my beautiful Golden Retriever, it was difficult. The people at Downey were great. They expressed their Condolences both verbally and with a card. My 5 stars is for how respectful they were. We decided to have her cremated and at no point did I feel like they were just trying to sell me on something. Thank you Downey Veterinary Hospital. I drive from OC to take my dog here. Everyone is helpful and polite. Char, front desk, Alo tech. Adam assistant. I have been to other vets and none come close to this place.

Hi! I've been going to Downey Vet. for many years, the Only reason that I go to Downey Vet is for two reasons. 1. Doctor T and Raymond they are the best doctor's ever. Very knowledgeable and caring.
2. Reason why I go to Downey Vet is because of Alandra. She is AMAZING!!!!....people I reccomend asking for Alandra for the best care for your pet and for any questions you have, very knowledgeable.

Again I had the misfortune of experiencing how insufficient the office staff at this Veterinary hospital are. I had my dog receive treatment since October 2019, I thought I'd give it a chance being that Dr. R. Villa was there now.
Recently, as I was again attempting to refill a medication my dog needs for his heart, the online ped meds company I was buying from called DVH to get prescription and AGAIN the office staff told them they had no record of my dog been seen there. I spent about $600 on bloodwork, consultations and treatment and that's what they come up with!? Unacceptable!

Dr. Raymond has treated all of our pets for over 19 years where he was previously in the city of La Puente. When I found out he was leaving I was in disbelief. Recently I decided to drive further out to Downey and know that my pets are in good hands. He has compassion, funny, and such a good personality. He is honest and cares. Thank you Dr. Raymond for all you do.

Most amazing vet ever!! Dr. Raymond really made our visit extra special. we had a bad experience with a current vet and were scared of the transition. the staff in front was amazing as well as the dr!! and as an added bonus they sent us a card through the mail.this was above and beyond expectations. and to add, Dr. Raymond made sure he answered any questions i had. we are really happy to go back!!!

Let's keep it real I am totally the cliché 42-year-old spinster woman with no kids obsessed with her animals . Even though it's not a cat , I do love my dog like if she's was my kid. So of course when it comes to my animals dramatic Crystal comes out in TruForm. Me in a vet with my dog is better than daytime television trust ! I love this place from start to finish. The staff is so warm and friendly. They really love the name of my dog #SugarBooger which is clearly a sign of good taste. #Obviously ! Thank you guys so much. All the staff was very kind and helpful with Richie helped him and explained everything that was going on. Don't hesitate to ask them questions and if your in a financial bind they offer a program called care credit which helps cover costly treatments. The Vet (Dr. Carlo Tanguinod) was so kind and helpful and gave solutions and alternate solutions. He explains what they're going to do and he make sure to call you and inform your pet if they stay overnight of their condition. This is a must go to vet. Thank you guys so much again.
