Jorge brings 15 + years of Software Development experience, and over 20 years of Management experience to oversee the day to day operations of the company.

If i could give working for this place 0 stars I would. I went weeks without hours and no call backs after I was told they would call. I was always the one calling and asking for hours. They promise you so much stuff just to get you in the door and then they mistreat you so badly. They don’t over work their people they just give no hours and make their employees struggle about how they are gonna pay their bills. The people their seem nice but are very two faced. I don’t not recommend this company at all.

Sue Arsenault from Home Care Assistance was incredibly generous with her time on several occasions and was so helpful in guiding our family in navigating the details of long term care generally, and our policy specifically. She knew all the questions to ask about my mother's policy and clearly explained how we needed to go about opening a claim with the insurance company now that my mother needs additional care. We are now in the process of being able to use the long term care policies that my father put in place for both my parents years ago, which is quite a relief. The whole process would have

I have had such a positive experience with Home Care and working for Sue. She has a very compassionate approach when it comes to the clients and her associates. You can tell she really cares it's not just a business for her. She meets the needs of her clients as well as her staff. She always makes time to address any situation you may come across. There was never a time that a call was not returned ,or a request for assistance not met with professionalism and compassion. Our journey with Home Care Assistance began 3 years ago with light care and companionship needs through the final days of my Father in Law's life. Highlights include , respect, laughter, covid precautions, well trained care givers, and navigating Long Term Care Insurance. Excellent Company , leadership, staff.

Home Care Assistance provided 24/7 care for my father for the last 18 months of his life. The caregivers were caring, compassionate and so loving to my Dad. Although he was bedridden, he was so meticulously cared for that he never even had a bedsore. Athough Hospice predicted that he would be gone the first few months after Home Care’s arrival, he actually was so well cared for that he completely shocked everyone by far outliving that prediction. Home Care Assistance provided him the best quality of life for his final days, and we will forever be grateful to Sue and her amazing staff.

This staff and caregivers at this agency are attentive, caring, and helpful beyond words. They all truly care about my parents and have allowed our family members to transition from being their caregivers to being their family again. The owner Sue is very responsive to all out needs and concerns. The caregivers communicate with us via carenotes and texts or phone calls. We are very grateful and I highly recommend this agency. My parents would not be able to be home without them and home is where they want to be.

I highly recommend Home Care Assistance of Portland Maine. This summer I needed caregiver assistance for a family member at our home in the Boothbay region. Sue Arsenault, Owner and Client Care Manager of HCA of Portland, visited our home, accurately assessed my needs, and selected exactly the right caregiver to stay at our home when I had to travel over several days on several occasions. HCA of Portland also provided in-home assistance when I was also at home. Sue followed up after each caregiver visit. She was a also a very helpful resource for me as I continue my role as primary caregiver.
