Services
Welcome to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School, a college preparatory school rooted in the Tradition of the Catholic Church. Our school's sacred Mission transforms students by providing opportunities to excel as Christian leaders through rigorous academics, inclusive extracurricular programs, and Christ-centered activities.
In 2000, Mercy opened its doors marking the first time a Catholic high school had opened in the Atlanta area in over 45 years. By 2002, grades 9-12 were offered. Today, Our Lady of Mercy serves approximately 250 students from 9 counties - a student body that is rich in both diversity and talent.

Staff, faculty, and students prayerfully strive to uphold things valued most at Our Lady of Mercy: academic excellence, faith formation, small class sizes, well-trained faculty, updated technology, and diverse extracurricular programs. As an academic community, Our Lady of Mercy maintains excellence in teaching and high expectations for learning in an environment that values scholarship and achievement.
Our Lady of Mercy is fully accredited through District-Wide Accreditation of The Office of Catholic Schools. We also maintain accreditation through Cognia. Our Lady of Mercy ranks in the top five among Atlanta-area private schools for lowest tuition. We feel that a Catholic education should be attainable and we do our best to assist families financially.
Tuition is considered late on the 21st of each month. Should circumstances arise that may cause delay in payment, the Financial Assistant must be notified immediately so consideration for an alternate plan can be discussed. The Business Office will try to work with your family to come up with a mutually agreeable arrangement.
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School is seeking a full-time Art Teacher for the 2020-21 school year. Candidates should have prior high school teaching experience and a bachelor's degree. Preference is given to those with a master's degree.

Our Lady of Mercy offers a drug-free environment, is in full compliance with federal statutes for non-discrimination in its employment practices and is fully accredited through Cognia District-Wide Accreditation.

It is time to get a strong long term principal to move this school forward. It's time for a real change.

After spending 6 years in a southside Catholic School I am not impressed. Many of the teacher's are not qualified to teach they don't know how. The administration is from the 1950 not having a clue in what is going on. The staff needs diversity training. If you are thinking of sending your child to this school think twice.Yes they have 100 percent graduation rate because they ask failing students not to return. Without any real help.

My daughter is in the 9th grade and playing Junior Varsity for the school! My faith in the Catholic religion is apply in this school however, the school allows other beliefs to be part of this good school and I think that is what GOD would want! for everyone to be treated the same and for all students to receive the best education ever. I am pleased with the school and the staffs. I would recommend OLM!

So far so good. Please keep your expectations in order. This school has rules for a reason it is no different than any other school to keep order and structure. My son enjoys it. Visit then make your choice.

OLM is a decent school up to about 10th grade. After that it becomes a living hell hole. As a student that went to mercy and currently still here it sucks. The teachers change too frequently and most of the new teachers are inexperienced and don't know how to teach or run a class. The school makes up too many stupid rules that you can get in trouble for. Example, have your fleece jacket all the way pulled up detention. It doesn't make sense by how administration can make up rules at anytime they want to, but cannot find good quality teachers. Or most importantly KEEP the good teachers. If you are

Coming from a parent of a former student, this school is trash.
Here's why:
The principal is biased
A student can receive a detention for pratically anyhting
The school enviorment isn't as nice as they say it is
Most students who go here have no social life
Some of the teachers are just terrible
the school is cheap
And the MAIN problem: Safety
When school lets out at 2:45 , students are sent outside to wait for their rides and there is a security guard, however he does not have any weapons and he leaves at around 4 pm. When he leaves there is absolutely no one protecting the children when

OLM Catholic High School provides a quality educational setting for students who are dedicated to learning! The staff demonstrates passion for teaching and provides support to the students. Our journey was not without challenges, but due to caring leaders and teachers, they never gave up on my grandson and for that I will forever be grateful. I would select this school all over again if given the choice!!! Thank you for all you do for this learning community of students.

We are pleased with the school, its leaders, the teachers, and the entire staff. The students are supportive of each other and accepting of the various backgrounds and diversity represented at OLM.

Mercy has a beautiful foundation. It is based on a college-prep learning environment so it is not for every student. The teachers feel that God has lead them there to teach and participate in all the extra-curricular activities 95% of the students are involved in. We have two children here and are thrilled with the Catholic environment! Go Bobcats!
