Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School is a proud member of the Cristo Rey Network and we follow its Mission Effectiveness Standards. The Cristo Rey movement began in 1996 when Father John P. Foley, S.J., and his team opened Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago's Pilsen community.

The school's innovative business model allowed low-income students to receive a quality private Catholic education for minimal cost by working five days each month in an entry-level job at a law firm, bank, hospital, university, or other professional environment.
Catholic schools have a strong history of educational success across the country and specifically in Atlanta. Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School will continue to observe high standards of behavior, dress, and academic performance. We believe that with the strong support of the family, teachers, and administration, our students will thrive in this educational environment.
Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School is one of more than sixty-eight Jesuit high schools in the United States, 13 of which are Cristo Rey schools. We are part of a more than 450-year tradition of Jesuit education that began in 1548 with the founding of the Jesuit college at Messina, Sicily, a tradition that now encompasses thousands of schools-middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities, and the Fey y Alegria schools.
In 2014, Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit opened its doors to begin serving economically disadvantaged students, regardless of faith tradition. Drawing on both the Jesuit tradition and the Cristo Rey model, the school set out to provide an exceptional college preparatory education with the unique and powerful compliment of Corporate Work Study.

I have supported Cristo Rey Atlanta from the beginning, and they have continued to give fantastic instruction and opportunity to under-privileged children. A true beacon of hope!

My daughter is a junior here and attending Cristo Rey has been an amazing experience. Most of the teachers are higher quality than average. Expect to work hard, but also expect amazing results. This is a private Jesuit High school, so religion classes are required. I think this is a positive and pushes the students to achieve in both academics and in personal development. Each student must work a corporate job 5 days a month, which pays a large portion of the tuition. The attendance area is statewide, however families that apply should be those that cannot pay Catholic tuition at the other local
