Park Hotel Yellowstone is surrounded by the diverse wilderness of Mother Nature and Main Street USA. Gardiner is the North Gate Entrance, the Main Original Park Entrance, and only Entrance in the Park. Gardiner is also the only entrance open year around. You can explore all areas of the park from here in spring, summer, and fall.
In winter we give u access to the "Serengeti of Wildlife, " LAMAR VALLEY, Mammoth Hot Springs, Boiling River, Roosevelt Area, & all points in between. There are snow coaches & snowmobiles to reach the remaining areas of the park in winter. It is a very special time in the park. The blend of vintage and modern amenities offers some luxury & convenience at the front door of our magnificent Yellowstone.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us in our comfortable & beautiful suites one block from Yellowstone Park. We are on Main Street USA of "small town" Gardiner, MT, walking distance to all restaurants, coffee shops, other shops, information center, and the massive Roosevelt stone archway marking the original and oldest entrance to our Nation's 1st National Park.
Gardiner is located in southwest Montana, at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The town is situated in spectacular Paradise Valley with the Yellowstone River running right through town. Yellowstone's main road is the Grand Loop, it is a difficult drive to tackle in one day. The Grand Loop serpentines 142 miles around Yellowstone like an inscribed circle closed in on the very heart of the park.
Scenic drives are aplenty around Gardiner. Whether your looking for an evening drive after dinner, a drive with a short hike, or the full day, we have you covered. Highway 89 is by far one of the most scenic drives in or out of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Paradise Valley is 53 miles of breath-taking mountain views of the Gallatin and the Absaroka Beartooth mountain ranges.

I’ve stayed here now twice and will continue to stay anytime I’m in Gardiner! It’s very clean and very homey, I always stay in the back alley room which has a small kitchen perfect for cooking breakfast before heading into Yellowstone for the day. Beds are very comfortable and the owners are extremely nice. Definitely recommend!

What a wonderful stop and view at a beautiful historic place! Everything was very clean and enjoyed the decor of our room. We were on the second floor looking out our large panoramic windows to the edge of the Yellowstone National Park and watched numerous elk grazing 100 yards away. Thank you for a memorable stay. And LOVED the stone shower!

Best stay we have had in a long time.
Me and my family went on vacation to see Yellowstone & park hotel was by far one of the coziest, most friendly and helpful places to stay, the manager Magan was extremely kind and answered any questions we had. We plan on going back in the summer so we definitely will be staying at Park Hotel. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Great location, excellent accommodations. I stayed at this hotel in October 2021, in one room with my family (wife and I, an 11-year-old and 13 year old). When we pulled up to the hotel, an elk was standing in the courtyard munching on the grass. The room had plenty of beds for our family, a great walking location to everything in town, and sits right at the North entrance of Yellowstone. We loved it, and I would recommend this hotel.

Park Hotel Yellowstone was one of the most charming hotels I’ve ever stayed! Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness, to the check-in/check-out procedures, to the furnished supplies, to the comfortable bed, to the wonderful ambiance of the hotel. I’m just sorry we were only there for one night! If I’m ever fortunate enough to visit Yellowstone again one day, Park Hotel will be part of the vacation!

This is a quaint and vintage hotel in Gardiner, MT. We chose it because of the proximity to a guided bike tour we took with Big Sky E Bike Tours.
The hotel is historical and very well taken care of. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and well appointed.
We would not hesitate to stay here again!

This place is beautiful. We had a party of 5 and the room with the bunk beds was perfect. All of us were in awe of the authenticity of this old world hotel and how beautifully it was maintained. It is so close to park entrance and you can walk to the arch and yellowstone sign for photos. You can also walk to dining and shopping. The host was very helpful with any questions or concerns and quick to answer any texts or calls. I do suggest if stairs are a problem that you request a first floor room as they are steep.

We loved the Park Hotel! We had the 101/102 family suite, which I highly recommend! It is the 2 front porch rooms, then wraps around like a U under the stairs, with a really cool kitchen & sitting room. We also had a double room upstairs for our 2 older teens. This place was so unique, it just blew us away! The kids loved it. Would definitely stay again.
