What a wonderful place! We didn't spend the night, only the day. However when we go back, we hope to spend the night. The pools were amazing and hot! Lovely way to spend some time and the mountain views are beautiful.

Cool spot that is great historical location..it even has my Dad's original wood furniture from over 30 years ago (although refinished and new seats). The restaurant staff was rude about not seating us without a reservation, despite more than 50% of the restaurant being open. The food was good, but not great. The hot springs and drinks were amazing. The lower lodge had nice rooms, but no elevators FYI. We had some very nice maintenance help us carry our bags up the stairs and the rooms were warm.
Love that they are dog friendly.
Recommendations: book on the first floor, make restaurant reservations

My boyfriend and I were visiting Paradise Valley and were highly recommended to come here and we are so glad we did! We started off with having dinner and drinks at the bar in the dining area, Chris and Chase took excellent care of us at the bar! Then we went to the pool and loved it. We probably stayed in the pool for close to two hours, so relaxing and such a fun environment. We can’t wait to return! Thanks again for such a lovely night.

Chico is one of four developed hot springs within 2 hours of Bozeman, MT.
If you're in Paradise Valley or the Livingston area, it's a no-brainer. It's only 30 minutes from Livingston and one of the best places to relax while exploring Paradise Valley.
I would place them further down on the list of hot springs options because the pools are more basic, there is no live music outdoors, no lighting, and only two pool areas. The warmer pool is also very small.
The big benefit to Chico is being able to order a drink from the poolside bar, and only one of the other hot springs offers this. The other

We are enjoying our stay at Chico. The atmosphere is pretty laid back and harkens back to an earlier day.
The pool is nice, but not as hot as we thought it would be. It avg about 101.
We are in room 238 and the pics are of that room. I'd suggest a room, like ours, in the Warren wing since it was quieter then the ones by the pool access corridor and it had its own bathroom.

Came for the hot springs, but was highly disappointed. It's more like a community/public pool at best. Would have been better off running a bath at home and pouring myself a drink. Save your money and time. Far better things to do in the area.

We stayed for two nights last week. We were privileged To have Caleb as our server both night in the dining room. We had a group of 6-7 each night with 2 guests having gluten allergies. Caleb was thoughtful… and very considerate of our allergies each night and was careful to suggest selections that would be safe. Amazing food and service as always.

Very fun and affordable day passes for the whole family! Only downside was the cost of food at the poolside grill as it was very high for sub par food.

I love this place! The ambiance is unparalleled, the service is 5 stars!
However, today I ordered a $50 bison steak that was served with what I'm sure is the same saline material that they use to keep their roads ice free in the winter. Fritos aren't as salty.
The restaurant is wonderful and I whole heatedly recommend it, just don't order the bison ribeye!
My heart is bleeding for the poor bison who gave up their ribeye for this,

Thing

Disappointed is a tremendous understatement. Chico, you're better than this..

HOLY S**T! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The hot tub was huge first of all and so so relaxing. Pretty hot too- I could only stay in for a little at a time. The regular pool gets really deep and is massive as well and it’s also pretty warm. Bonus points is they serve alcohol at the pool here and you don’t have to be a guest to swim! All day swim is $10, and they give you a wrist band to show entry.

This may be the best "1 star" hotel ever. True, my room in the main ledge doesn't have a TV, or air conditioning, or room service, or even a toilet. But there is a fantastic restaurant, a natural spring pool, a gorgeous setting, a saloon, an ice cream shop, and more. Clean, friendly, and a great value. (Other room options do have other amenities.) I rarely give any review 5 stars and Chico isn't perfect (free coffee doesn't start until 7am) but it is a real gem.

So much fun to be had. We went on a lovely horseback ride & rounded out the day with a soak. Our wrangler, Dalaney, was energetic, friendly and a real pleasure to ride with. Soaking in the healing, warm, hot springs was just what we needed after riding. Family friendly & a real Montana experience.

I love this place! So relaxing and beautiful. Beautiful grounds with manicured lawn, flowers. Surrounded by mountain scenery. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I ate my first beef Wellington ever in their fine restaurant. We brought our dog Tiger. We for sure plan to return to swim once more in the pool and hot pool. Next time we want to stay longer so we can enjoy a float down the Yellowstone River.

This place is amazing. The views and accommodations are great, but what makes it incredible is the staff. Everyone was amazing and super friendly. A special shout-out goes to Kelby the Saloon bartender. He is truly a national treasure...stop in and tip the hell out of that beautiful man

The restaurant here was an absolute surprise. The wine list is broad and deep. The service is top notch! We had a self-inflicted reservation snafu and they fit us in anyway. The sauteed wild mushrooms were delicious! Two beef dishes were cooked to perfection! And the wine was amazing! The staff were well versed in the vast wine selection and gave good advice. (And our room was nice, too, but the restaurant was the highpoint of our stay).

Booked a cabin and, at the time of the booking, was told that there wasn't a tv, which was fine, but was told that there was wi-fi. Got there and no wi-fi. Called the front desk and they said you should have it, but was unable to connect to anything. Mentioned all this to the clerk during check out and there attitude was like, whatever. Also, spent over $100 on two dinners, and got very little food in relation to the price. Atmosphere and location were wonderful, but staff and infrastructure could use some help and updating.

Hotel/ service desk staff could use an attitude adjustment but the hot springs itself was cool. It's nice they let you have drinks poolside, the staff inside the poolside grill were nice and helpful though. Very busy for a Saturday which was to be expected. Food was good!

We went to the hot springs back at the end of July. They were limiting the number of people allowed in to the pool area due to COVID and masks were required indoors.

Drinks & food were available... you could order at the window without having to go inside. They had a nice selection of beers and other beverages. We had a yummy huckleberry vodka pink lemonade slushie. Yum!

We enjoyed our visit very much and would definitely go back!

A Montana native friend of mine recommended Chico when I mentioned to her I wanted to 'get away' with my husband for our honeymoon. What a perfect recommendation indeed.

Chico just has an ambiance that has to be seen to be believed. It is quaint and charming, rustic and sweet. If you're looking for true luxury, keep moving. It's comfortable but no-frills on the amenities front (no AC, limited toiletries in the room and a basic motel type in-room style). But what it lacks in fancy it more than makes up for in peaceful relaxation. You don't need the AC; the windows open

The food is fantastic, but served with a side of coronavirus. The restaurant does not follow CDC nor state health guidelines, with closely spaced tables filled to capacity, servers without masks, and no social distancing protocols. We traveled from California and our neighboring guests were from Minnesota. This is exactly how a national pandemic persists.

Fortunately, the horse riding outfitters were more on point (masked and social distanced), and the hot pool less crowded, as only guests were allowed in.

What a crock! Their website says the hot springs is open for day use until 11pm. I show up after driving specifically to be there and the sign on the door says open to lodging guest only and closes at 10pm. This was around 10pm. Well, thanks for letting me know on the website. I know it's a challenging time, but the website is like "day use guest are welcome" or the equivalent- I dunno, I exited the site as I'm about to exit the place. Thanks anyway.

This place is great!! We did a soak and had a drink following a great hike at Pine Creek.

I would love to come back, stay longer and try the main dining area.

The facilities were clean and well maintained.

Was hoping the music would start earlier, but as we were headed back to Bozeman missed that.

Great destination!!
