Receiving a screening for a sexually transmitted disease, or STD, is an important step for a sexually active person to take in order to protect themselves and their partner. In many cases, those infected with a sexually transmitted disease may not even know because they aren't showing symptoms. If left untreated, STDs can be spread to others and may even lead to infertility.
2. Gather all of your vaccination records. You can bring them with you to your medical evaluation, but the Civil Surgeon would prefer to review them prior to your visit. If you don't speak English or Spanish, please bring an adult interpreter with you. Your interpreter will be expected to sign a section of the i-693 attesting that they are fluent in the language that you speak.
Perhaps it helps to know what diabetes is. Diabetes is a condition in which blood sugar or glucose remains high in the bloodstream. The reasons why it's high can be different but the result is the same. And when sugar has been high for too long in the bloodstream it leads to a number of medical problems like vision loss, kidney failure, heart disease and poor circulation leading to amputation of limbs.

I would give zero stars. Staff will turn you away because they do not want to test you. Says you don't need an appt, you do. Have insurance? They'll look at your card and say we don't take "theeez one". Says they take cash, they'll give you an address of another place "that'll do it cheaper" but it's 30 miles out. Bottom line I was given 3 reasons to go elsewhere. It worked and thank God because who knows how their care is.

I've visited the office twice and had three phone appointments with Dr. Sargeant within the past year. Everything so far has been convenient and easy! I use the online system/patient portal, and I've never had any problems getting in contact with her or her staff. Usually responds within a day. She's extremely thorough and will always take your concerns seriously. You'll never feel dismissed.

This location does not offer walk-in covid-19 test, opposite of what the site states. Wasted valuable time sitting in a parking lot texting an automatic response system, save your time and go somewhere that values patients and health.
