Does the Nail Technician have to file the shine from the natural nail prior to application of Gel Manicure?. It is best not to shave your legs right before a pedicure. The scrubs used can cause an irritation and sometimes burn. When we shave we microscopy cut ourselves so if you are at a salon that you aren't 100% sure about the way they clean the pedicure tub you could be introducing bacteria into your system.

I was in New Jersey for a wedding, and I came there to get my nails done. When she did my gel acrylics, it had bubbles in them so now my nails have tiny spots on them. I also went in there and got a pedicure and the dead skin is still on my feet and I paid extra for them to make sure that they got off all of the dead skin. I paid way too much money for my nails and my feet to look like I never walked in their building. They rushed through everything. Will never return

It is so bad I want to rate it a zero, but that’s not possible so I give it a one. $65 for uneven lumpy nails that look nothing like the picture I showed Sally. She ripped off my old acrylics instead of soaking them to rush me out of there I was in a lot of pain, it was the worse experience of my life. I wish i was exaggerating. The green nails i attached is what I asked for VS what I got. It is sickening to be honest. I can’t even stomach these nails.

Staffs and manager s very friendly. Very clean and very big. I do enjoy my first time up there. Sally s so sweet and nice. She had a done good job w pedicure but need to take her time. She done like least 25 mins. Shld take her time. It seems like she s in rush. I feel satisfied? Not really. Because I feel like she rush me. My nails came out okay, but the process was EXTREMELY rushed and the nail tech didn't take the time or care to perform the requested services. If I'm paying $70+ for basic nail services, then I expect to have a decent experience. I did not receive even average service here, and I will not be returning.

I had a terrible experience this weekend. After years of going here- I got two very deep cuts on my cuticles. When I got home, I realized there were two minor cuts on other nails too, and I had to tell the tech to stop on a toe as well. I'm hoping I don't get an infection- I'm cleaning daily. This isn't ok. I got $10 off for my trouble. They'll get the bill if I get an infection!

Meh... ok so lets start with pros: great customer service , instant service, lots of space and nice decor. Everyone was welcoming and attentive. The menu options are plentiful and they have a nice check in ipad to sign in visitors. BuT.... There are some areas that need improvement especially for their higher priced services and hygiene.

I was nervous about trying a new nail salon. I tried this place before for a quick pedicure. The pedicure looked nice however, the lady destroyed my eyebrows. Anyway, I knew I couldn't get my eyebrows done again but I thought I could at least get my toes done again. The hours of operation online and on the door said 10 am until whatever. I thought I'll be one of the first people in there. Wrong!!!! When I arrived for my 10 am appointment there were people all over that place. The lady told me to have a seat. Can I leave 0 stars? No? Ok. First , the only person in the joint who even remotely acted like they cared about a customer was the girl working the desk. The place is FILTHY. It was busy and I felt as though I was at the train station. I had a gel mani and a pedi and it was SO RUSHED. I will never return. FYI- pretty sure the place gives discounts for good reviews because otherwise I promise they'd have none.
Also my nails look like they were done 2 weeks ago and they were done on Friday - for reference it is now Sunday, 2 days later.(see picture)

The customer service here is grate, definitely my favorite nail salon out of all of the ones I've been to in Gloucester county. The customer service is amazing, and they are also reasonably priced. The student discount for high school students was what originally brought me in, however after going to other nail salons I've been disappointed. One of my acrylics recently broke and they fixed it for free! So happy with their services! For my fire nail design on a full set of acrylics it was $80 so I likely won't be doing that again but I'm happy with the accent nail cost for one

Amazing job at doing nails and super friendly and professional. Don’t try to force into services you don’t want either! Make sure to make an appointment people know how good they are do they do book. And if any issues they do contact you and always willing to make your experience great and what you expected!! And color selections are plentiful!! Definitely recommend for any services

Like most, I liked my nails when I first got them done plus they offer 20% off for leaving a good review. Therefore, these reviews aren’t accurate. I had to go back within a week for a repair. I paid for dip polish they did the repair with gel because it was “easier.” After another week my nails began to chip. I reached out to management privately and got no response. The service was rushed, mistake were made. Don’t waste your time or money.

I have been coming to VIP for several years and have always had a pleasant experience. However, yesterday was awful. I had an appointment and came to the salon for a pedicure and full set for my senior prom tomorrow. With my pedicure, I didn’t want any scrubs or lotions because it irritates my skin - I only wanted the callus on my feet shaved down. I was waiting in the foot soak for a minimum 25 minutes before someone came to actually work on me, and my feet were completely stained blue by this time. Gave this place 3 chances before I wrote this review. I only returned the last 2 times because they are located near my house and convenient but now I can say I will NEVER be back because my last visit on Saturday was awful. My pedicure was rushed and my polished chipped the same exact day. It looks like a two year old painted my toes. While getting my lip waxed there were roaches in the waxing room crawling on the wall. I got switched nail techs half way through and wanted dip, I was told it was 38 and when I went to pay it was 48. I also showed her a picture of what I wanted and my nails look

Ive been here maybe a handful of times or less because of location convenience , this time I opted for the most extravagant pedicure they had due to finally being able to get out for one because of quarantine. I was extremely disappointed , the girl was very sweet but the service felt RUSHED. It was not worth the money or the little bit of time it took to do it. I could get better service up the highway for a lot less $.

Love the kids pedicure station! This place has great service and I love how our nails turned out. I had my manicurist change my polish a few times and she was patient with me until I got just the right shades for my sister' wedding!
Update: had to return 5 days later when our gel manicures were chipping for a touch up. Mine were rubbing off on the corners and my daughters were cracking and she was peeling them off : ( the salon quickly took care if us and corrected the nails but I would have hoped that gel would have lasted longer than 5 days.

First time here at VIP and I am very impressed! Had a manicure today and it was great, nice rounded nails and my hands look party ready. My favorite was the hot wax, never had this before but WOW, loved it. My family had pedicures and they were "beyond amazing and relaxing " hot stone massage. If you are in the area I highly recommend. Came on a Saturday morning, it was very busy but no wait!

I've been going here since April of this year. I love this place. It's very clean, spacious and friendly staff. My first time going was a walk in and was seated with one lady and she seemed friendly at first. Throughout the nail experience she got a an attitude about little things of which I dismissed. The price at the end was expensive but justified it because my nails looked good. 2nd time I went, made an appt. with same woman. Same experience. Different price this time but still expensive.
