This was the perfect quaint, small A1A roadside hotel! Great parking, excellent suites and nice people. I got an oceanfront suite. It was great! Private balconies are a super plus; gives you the privacy and silence to sit out and face the ocean peacefully.
Private beach entrance just feet from the hotel. Because this is not a huge hotel they're less guests making your stay much quieter.
The beachfront in this area is very low trafficked limiting that overcrowded feel.
Price wise I felt it was a great price for the overall product.
I definitely plan to stay here again!

We stayed here 3 time now and each time was The Best. We got an Ocean Front Suite and relaxed while taking in the sounds and views of the sea. The resort has it's own little bridge to take you over the dunes and onto the beach. The suites feature their own kitchenettes w/stovetop and full fridge. Utensils and dishes are also provided. Two TVs, a living room w/pullout sofa and dining area too. This place is perfect! You have to Go!

The help was very nice the place was very clean and you're probably 50 ft from the beach. We were over there last weekend probably no more than 12 people on the whole beach. We have been there 2 times and definitely will go back.

We love Tuckaway Shores Resort! The staff and location never disappoint and we come back every year with friends and family... peaceful and beautiful, plenty to do for kids, teenagers and adults! We love the treatment we receive from the staff and look forward to our return!

We had a wonderful weekend at Tuckaway Shores! The rooms and grounds were updated and very clean, atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and staff was kind. They had all of the amenities we could have wanted! This hotel is the best of "Old Florida" living and we can't wait to go back.

Our room was clean I can say that. However Pam Rothenberg at the front desk was rude and very short with us during our brief attempt to ask questions on our first day there. After that I did not want to go to front desk again for anything even though we found that there were only 3 forks supplied in the fully stocked kitchen we made due with the extra butter knives. Which made eating spaghetti difficult for 5 people. I felt like an annoyance more than a guest at this hotel.

We live in Virginia and decided to visit my family in Palm Bay. I have 3 young sons and thought it would be really fun to stay on the beach a few nights since we only go to the beach once a year. At first, I looked at the big name pricey hotels, but was turned off by bad reviews. I just happened to find Tuckaway Shores and I am so glad I did! We had a ground floor suite and our view of the ocean was just amazing. The suite itself was very clean and a nice size for the 4 of us. We enjoyed our short stay this past weekend at Tuckaway shores. Our first visit to this quaint resort was a truly pleasant experience. The room was clean and nicely decorated. This is a gem on the Melbourne shore. We already booked a return visit in July.

Excellent staff and very well maintained. The pool was heated - and enjoyed. We had a beach view with a balcony, which had two chairs & a small side table. The beach view took a bit of adjusting seating to actually see the water. Very quiet beach front with chairs & umbrellas available on first come first served - but there were enough even in the afternoon.
The kitchenette had a full sized fridge, stove top & microwave. We enjoyed breakfast watching the sunrise and walking the beach at night to see stars & effervescence in the surf. We had family come visit for the day and there were enough parking

Fantastic mom and pop resort, peaceful, private, relaxing last minute get away from our S central FL home, better than we could have expected, beachfront, heated pool, parking, clean and qualify of the room, attention to detail like a 5 star hotel right down to the quiet closing cabinets and toilet seat! Enjoyed our stay very much! It was actually Idealic! Very clean, very well decorated with local art. A suite with a kitchenette that has everything that you need silverware, plates, Drinking glasses, cooking utensils, salt/Pepper in pots and pans. It seems like a mom and pop operated beachside Inn. Beautifully maintained property with incredible views! The rooms are nicely updated and super clean. The pool is heated in the winter and was the perfect place to relax. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Many of the customers were repeats, so that's a good sign of a healthy business. If you want old Florida style with modern amenities, stay here! I absolutely LOVED it!

Our stay here was so nice! We arrived to a very clean room, comfortable bed, and a gorgeous view. The staff was friendly and accommodating too. It was our first time in Florida, and Tuckaway Shores made our first impression positive. The price was very affordable considering the location right on the beach with a view. I would 100% stay here again in the future.

My husband and I are staying in unit 336, 3rd floor, facing the ocean. I thought we had a balcony room. But oh no, THE WHOLE LIVINGROOM WALL retracts so that your livingroom is your balcony!! You can't get any cooler, figuratively or literally, than that!

Very friendly check in staff and cleaning service. Full kitchenette with coffee maker, 2 burner stovetop, microwave, and fridge. Super clean, beautifully decorated.

We love Tuckaway! We have stayed here several times before, and this weekend it has been our honeymoon suite. The location is perfect, as it's in central Melbourne Beach, the staff is helpful and welcoming, and the charm of the room is why we keep coming back. Each room is a suite with a kitchenette, bathroom, living room and bedroom, each containing the perfect amount of beach decor. The space is not a nautical mess, and it is not a bare hotel. I feel as if I'm staying in someone's beach house! There's nothing like watching dolphins swim in the ocean as you're relaxing

Just returned from my third stay within a year. Love, love, love Tuckaway Shores! Third floor is our jam. Door wide open to the Atlantic Ocean is a reset. Tuckaway is a modest, clean, and cozy old-school-style motel. Property is situated on the beach, no cars allowed on beach, not crowded, and very peaceful.
On our most-recent stay, owner very apologetic that our room wasn't ready. No worries, we're on vacation. We grabbed a beer and checked in a little later.

Everything went well for our Memorial Day weekend. Had only one issue with a DVD remote and was assisted in the room by the staff for the remedy. Wasn't expecting managment to go to that degree to fix the problem! Sweet.
Parking is the one bummer if you need two spaces. Only one space per room but really the alternate spaces are less walk that any gargantuan resort area options!

Pick your poison:
a. The 2nd floor has balconies with two chairs and a small table. (This is our preferred.)
b. The ground floor may be easier access somewhat, but now you have peepers walking pass your living

I have to admit out of all the hotels and resorts i've stayed in over the years this one is at the top of my list. It is a small resort run by a lovely woman names Jacqui. She keeps this place top notch with her staff. Plus Bryan the front desk clerk is Awesome. He keeps it all running smoothly.

So first off the property is in the perfect location right on the beach. you are literally just a few steps away. If you're not a beach person then check out the pool. either way way they offer you free items from beach towels to toys to enjoy your time. Plus you have the option to use the rec

I absolutely can NOT wait to return. Seriously, if I could tomorrow I would! First, let's just talk about the staff. Everyone that we encountered at Tuckaway was beyond wonderful. They were polite, completely on top of things and just happy to be there. It was so refreshing.

Second, the rooms. I will post pictures of our room. We were on the third floor. There is a giant sliding glass door that opens up. You can sit in your LIVING ROOM and it feels like you are right on the beach. I never closed my doors. It was so relaxing to hear the ocean right outside.
