Your insurance company CANNOT require you (not even suggest, however they all do it anyway) to have your vehicle looked at or repaired in a shop that they recommend. You are not required to take your vehicle to an insurance company's drive-in-claim center, even if the vehicle is drivable. You may legally appoint your repair shop as your "Designated Representative" to protect your interests and negotiate in good faith with your insurance company.

Excellent service! I was involved in a “fender-bender” a few weeks ago. The front end of my car was badly damaged. The technicians at REALITY MOTORS worked on my 2002 Subaru Impreza! Attention was paid to every detail! It looks like a BRAND NEW CAR! They even had the car detailed at a local car wash before they would return my car to me! They are definitely collision repair experts!

Reality Motors Auto Body runs an excellent business! My very first interaction with Reality was after making a phone call to them about my accident and speaking with Joel. His first statement to me was don't worry about the car "Are you ok"?! That set the tone for my entire experience with them. Every phase of repair they kept me informed of my car's status. When I got the car back it looked brand new! They most definitely earned my future business!

Reality Motors helped my car look brand new at a low cost. I am so grateful with how honest and well they communicated with me from the second I walked through the door up until the moment my car was ready for pick up. They beat the price of my old body shop and my car has never looked better. I truly was impressed with their work and how they kept me as a priority throughout the whole process. They touched up old chips on my bumper (my repair was in the front) and even gave me matching paint for when I need. I am so glad I took a chance and went to their shop. I came in with some deep scratches on my car, right away Jay explained in detail how he'd go about fixing them and how he paints cars how they do at the factory. He took the car right away and kept me updated on it's progress. The car looks better than the day I drove off the lot, the attention to detail is noticeable, I have no problem recommending people to Jay and reality motors

My blower motor wasn't working properly, so I took it here instead of Ford who wanted $150 diagnostic charge.
I met The manager Jason who said they would check it out. He came back in 15 minutes and told me what I needed, they ordered my part and it was was installed and I was in and out of there within an hour at minimum cost.

What an experience!!! .... Jason was a helpful the minute I walked in. I was immediately provided top tier customer service when I told them my issue and the importance of my photo inspection. Jason's professionalism and honesty goes along with especially when dealing with your car. I will definitely come back if I need anything done with my car. This is my nephews place, they're just getting started at this location, he does great work! He's been working on my cars for years. I say give them a try you won't regret it.
The other review were someone wasn't satisfied, I say let people know before you give a bad review give them opportunity to correct it, these businesses are people's livelihood. A restauranteur told us that at a Yelp event.

At the recommendation of my co-workers, I brought my SUV to Reality Motors, fairly new to an industrial area of Freeport. I was greeted warmly when I walked in and they were very easy to deal with and accommodating. The amount they charged me was less than I expected and both the mechanic and the owner thanked me when I left. This is how every business should treat its customers.

We had an accident today, and Police made us use Reality Motors for a tow. 3.4 miles total, and the amount due was $204.38! Also, this was a company truck. Our men were with the van the entire time, even catching a ride back to the facility with the van. After we were waiting to pay, they now want us to bring Proof of ownership, other than the registration! In addition, they REFUSED to tow the car to Farmingdale. It was too far for them. Finally, they would not take payment over the phone, with a faxed signature. They made someone drive to Freeport to pay them. If you need service, or

Bought a car @ Reality Motors (Freeport, NY) and their services were excellent. They provided all services big dealership offer and then some. Car was detailed and I even had them install tints that matched the rear factory windows. I just got my car back after a fairly hard hit. I have to say the entire experience was seamless. They not only did a perfect repair (of my 2 month old brand new car!) but they also assisted me with a rental and CLEANED and detailed the entire car. It was perfect when it was handed back to me. The staff is courteous and friendly. The owner of the shop was easy to talk to and explained everything. Friendly and approachable and didn't take advantage (but also didn't cut corners).

I had an unfortunate accident and was in need of repair. Reality was fast and accurate. My truck looks brand new and better than ever. Erica is such a pleasure to deal with.
