If I could rate this a zero star I would!!! We stayed at the Secluded Romance Cabin....The kitchen chairs were broken, the shower head had to be pointed at the wall or else water would go all over the floor. The shower curtains were cloth so they soaked up all the water. The hot tub was broken and sketchy looking. The whirlpool tub jets took 10 minutes just to work. "Secluded" is a total lie. You have to go down someone's driveway, then turn down 2 other peopels driveways to get to the cabin.

We stayed at Above the Mist
When we arrived the first issue we had was the code to get in the door wouldn't work so we had to call the number to be able to get in. Then when we first walked into the cabin 4 out of 7 of us our eyes were burning and watering from some fumes and we had to open all the doors and let it air out several hours we had to keep the doors open and sit outside for hours before our eye stopped burning and watering. When we went to open the doors to air out we also had issues with the deadbolts, we couldn't open the lower balcony door at all. We called maintenance number to

Booked the Secluded Romance for this past weekend (July17&18) drove over 5 hours to the cabin got inside and it had NO WATER called the maintenance guy and it was already a known issue that I was not informed of. I paid almost 500 dollars for a nice weekend with my wife it was our 6 year anniversary and we have a family of 6 so we never got a honeymoon or anything of that nature. They offered me a full refund but couldn't process it till the next Monday. Had to turn around and drive 5 hours back because couldn't find another place to stay that was decent or not 400 a night. On my way to Gatlinburg, I left two messages stating that we were going to arrive late, but no one returned my call about any special instructions. We arrived after 3:30 a.m. - and the code did not work and there was no key. I called the main number and the emergency maintenance number numerous times and left several messages. I even called the police because the alarm was going off after too many attempts on the key pad.
Having driven 15+ hours from Florida, we were exhausted and slept in the car the first night - for which I had prepaid for the cabin.
Fortunately, the code worked the next afternoon

We stayed at the Ole Smoky Retreat. Overall, it was a very nice cabin with great features. It was very close to everything in Pigeon Forge. However, every bed but the master was hard as a rock, and sleeping on the carpet would have probably been more comfortable. For that reason, we would not stay here again.
