Gaining legal permanent residence, or a "green card, " can be easier if you know the right people. Family immigration is the area of Immigration of law that deals most with this. In fact, if you or someone in your family is already a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you've potentially cleared one of the main hurdles to establishing sponsorship for permanent residency.
In order to come to the United States and work, you must be employment immigration sponsored-either by an employer or by opening an business and having your business sponsor you. It's all about who you know. Temporary worker visas through sponsored employment immigration do not grant permanent residence (like a "green card"), but they can be a path to it.
Was someone in your family a U.S. citizen? Even if you are not a U.S. citizen, you may have derived or acquired citizenship through a family member who who had citizenship in the past. U.S. citizenship laws have changed over the years, so what can qualify someone as a citizen today may not have been the case when your grandfather or great-grandmother was a citizen or when your mother naturalized.

I had an incredible experience with Cristina and her entire team! I was stuck in México for 2 months waiting on my visa but Cristina made sure she did everything she possibly could to get me back home and she checked on me every single day. I truly believe if it wasn't for her help I would still be in México waiting. Her entire team became like family to me after everything we went through. I couldn't have been happier to have them all by my side through the entire ordeal and I highly recommend them to anyone!

Cristina just recently helped me with citizenship status and the process was so easy, well at least on my end. I’m always super nervous about anything immigration related as it can be very complicated and there is just so much paperwork, the right forms, etc. Cristina is so knowledgeable and easy to work with. She did all the paperwork in one day and filled it the very next day. I mean it was easy and quick and I can rest knowing the right forms were completed and now just need to wait to hear back about my status. Cristina is my go-to attorney for all immigration questions and I keep telling
