I would prefer a meetings in person but based on the Covid 19 aspect I understand fully.

It's been 2 years and 5 months and we are no where close to being finalized. Every email or request for update is repeatedly ignored. Nobody updates us the status of our case. This has been a nightmare, as off the accident wasn't bad enough.
UPDATE----
Almost 3 years since accident and we still have no idea what's going on with this case. We also haven't heard from the office for over 4 months.

This was the worst experience! Even worse than the accident I was in that was the other drivers fault! I met with Diane Sawaya for an initial consultation and only spoke to her once after because I was angry they weren't going to get me enough money to cover my medical bills and personal expenses (rental car, tow and Uber). Between Sawaya and the 3 different paralegals I dealt with (2 left the company) they just wanted me to sign whatever the insurance company wanted and get the case closed. I contacted this firm twice. The last time I was told they would discuss the information I had given them and if they couldn't help me they would direct me to someone else. No one ever called me back. I have tried to Not hire an attorney for my rear end accident that totaled my car. The girl who hit me had no valid insurance. I am advocating for myself against my own insurance company as an uninsured motorist claim.

When looking for a lawyer to represent you, never use Dianne Sawaya. Her office does not disclose all the costs upfront. There are so many fees in the contigent fees agreement, which is designed to get you in the end, with fees that NEVER should have been charged. Make sure you ask specific questions as to what you will be charged for each item. Like photocopies of bills, postage, and more photocopies of unnecessary reports.
