I had an incredible experience with Dr. Afshar, and I am so glad I found this office. I am extremely nearsighted and have astigmatism, and my previous Optometrist (of about 25 years) has only been able to correct my vision to 20/40 for as long as I can remember, but my vision with contacts was still never crisp or totally clear. He recommended I try to find a doctor who specializes in hard contact lenses, so I decided to get a second opinion.
I saw Dr. Afshar today and am so impressed by his knowledge and experience. He is EXTREMELY kind and understanding and so patient when answering questions

I went in for an appointment and it was so smooth! I got my contacts delivered to my door before I even ran out of the sample pairs Dr. Afshar gave me. The optician was also incredibly easy to work with and I was really happy they had almost every eyeglass frame trend for Spring/Summer that I've seen online.

HORRIBLE. made an appointment over a month ago to be seen today at 10:15am, I get there at 10:06am call to check in and wait in my car. They call me back at 10:40am to tell me they are ready for me. I work full time, I stepped away from work on my break hour to go to this appointment I ask the gentleman how long this is going to take because I've been waiting almost 40 minutes already. he tells me he is going to screen me and the doctor is with a patient so he does not know how long he will be. So I asked what the point of me making an appointment was if I'm not being seen until an hour

The best optometrist we’ve been to! They go out of their way to accommodate and helped find the best glasses for my daughter. Her glasses were under warranty when they broke, but we had moved out of state and Heller still made sure we got her new frames and swapped out her lenses and sent them to us! I’m sad to have moved because we were always very pleased with their friendly service and the way they always put their patients first.

This is a wonderful practice. I stumbled upon it while looking for a contact lens exam close to my house. Dr. Suraj Afshar is kind, professional, knowledgeable about all things eye, and genuinely wants to help you. I was blown away by this last quality. He truly went above and beyond to find a brand of contacts I was comfortable wearing. When I got home, my husband decided to also make an appointment and he had a very similar experience. Cannot recommend this place enough and so happy we've found a great spot down the street for all of our eye care needs. Look no further!

Heller Eyecare rocks!!! I've been going there for years. Dr. Afshar is a super friendly guy and makes sure all of my appointments are fast and easy! Going to the eye doctor isn't necessarily the most ~fun~ activity but having great staff who strike up a conversation while they give you an eye exam makes it a pleasant time. Literally all of them are nice even when it's busy. I just started using contacts and my training class was so helpful. The eye doctor literally sat with me for a solid hour and coached me through it all. His feedback was so useful and the motivation was honestly

Excellent Service and professional staff!
Dropped by to see if they could do a repair on current pair of eyeglasses. As I waited, I checked out their vast selection of gorgeous fashionable frames!
I was quite impressed by the quality and organization!
The young woman who repaired my frames did it in a jiffy and never asked me to pay!

I have to say I am very disappointed in the care from this place. I loved Dr Heller. He was awesome. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks to get my lenses replaced. I dropped them, thankfully, they were still under warrantee. I had an appointment , when I showed up, they told me the machine was not working. Now I work full time, got there right after work and they did not even have the courtesy to call me and tell me this. When I left after my first visit, I was suppose to have a return visit. I called to make the appointment, they had to speak to the doctor and call me back. Guess what. Never

I chose this location because they were the only place that could squeeze me in last minute on my only day off. I was more than happy with the level of service and professionalism that I received from Dr. Afshar as well as the rest of the staff at Heller Eyecare.
I came from about 20 minutes away and have at least 25 other places closer that take my insurance, but I will certainly be returning for my future eyecare needs.

I bought my very first pair of glasses last Dec. They were so helpful! Went in to get my prescription made, tried on a few glasses to see which ones I liked best. I can't remember the woman's name who helped me pick the frames out but she was awesome! Gave her opinion about what shape looked best, suggested a few different types and we were able to narrow it down to a pair of Calvin Kleins that I LOVE. Stopped by a few days later to have them adjusted since they were hurting behind my ear and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.
