I was in the area visiting friends but having to work while I was there. My computer started acting up to a point where I was not able to get things done. I found A1, called and took my computer in. They did a diagnostic, discovered the problem and fixed it, getting me back in action the following day. Friendly, informative and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

These guys are great! My computer crashed and I sent an email to them at 8:00pm. I wasn't expecting a response, but they did and said they would be open the next day at 8:00 am. When I called they were friendly and told me to come by. When I dropped off my computer, things were explained to me in terms I could understand (not IT terms). Not only was my computer fixed quicker than I expected, but I paid less than the quoted repair price!

I've been with these guys for the last two years and can vouch for their honesty and high quality of work. I especially like the fact that they explain things in English and not just techno-talk. They've walked through hardware and software changes with me and made it easy. I've had previous consultants in the past who were just plain weird and I find these guys very refreshing, smart and service-oriented. Their prices are also very reasonable.

It was early in the morning so I was just expecting to call back later so when I got a return phone call from a very smart and polite person at A-1 Computer repair I was very impressed. The guy on the phone politely explained to me that he didn’t work on PlayStation’s. Instead of hanging up on me he gave me a bunch of tips to get it to work. Great customer service!!!

My laptop was giving a great deal of trouble. I googled to find the closest repair people, since I’m traveling. The gentlemen at A-1did a wonderful job. They ran diagnostics and repaired the problems caused by updates and then deleted trash and cleaned the insides. They explained things well and the fee was quite reasonable. I highly recommend them. I also want to add that they are a small family owned business. Good work guys!

We are so impressed with A-1 Computer Repair. Not only did they recover all of the important files from our failed hard drive, but they replaced the hard drive when we didn't even think it was possible to salvage our Macbook Pro! Also, we felt the price was excellent for the amount of repairs/data recovery they did and the repairs were performed in a timely manner. They also had excellent customer service and communication.

The charming and friendly owners of A-1 know so much about computers that fixing my laptop must have been child's play. Mason recommended changes that I'd not thought of, installed a robust virus protection with features not available on the free virus protection sites, caught my hard drive at 10% functionality (days before it failed), applied thermal paste to my over-heating machine -- and in general took care of it as well as Jared of Country Lube takes care of my car. I feel free and easy now because I have superior help whenever I need it. Did I mention that the bill was very modest. I love

These guy are the best. Took my mac in after it had a cup of coffee. I was in a bit of a hurry as I was leaving town an needed it ASAP. They put all the best effort into getting it back to me in a timely matter. They take the profession seriously. You can actually feel the brain technology when you walk in. They explained stuff way above my pay grade. The end product was fantastic. They went over the billing an handed me a cheat sheet for my mac. Found that surprising, as they knew I wouldn't know what to do with it. I just turn the dam thing on, emails, eBay an things of that sort

I've used this father-son team twice and both times their service was excellent! The first time they fixed a laptop that needed repair and a desktop that had no life left. They were able to get both machines up and running and were even able to restore the files on the dead desktop! Second time the laptop needed a tuneup and the desktop had been murdered by a power surge (if you're not using a surge protector, you really ought to). The power surge resulted in a lot of crackling, popping, and smelly electrical smoke. I was hoping they could recover the photos from the hard drive and

Mason is excellent! This was the first time that I'd come across a computer issue that I couldn't fix myself (thank you Windows10). I called around looking for a reputable place that was also local. Not only was Mason courteous and informative, but the repair was done right and for half of what it would have cost me for the privilege of driving to Folsom! My children took one look at my computer and pronounced it dead on arrival. Apparently it had something called the, "Blue Screen of Death." I was ready for a requiem mass and burial. Thanks to Mason and his dad, my computer has been resurrected!
