I saw Scott for a consultation and before we got into my dental needs, he took his time to get to know me and was very personal and felt like I was talking to a friend. He instantly spotted what my concerns were and assured me that we can correct some issues I have.

A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Dentistry, Dr. Hoffman has been a practicing dentist in Menlo Park for a number of years. Dr. Hoffman accommodated an emergency appointment for my grandmother who is in hospice when no one else would. He attended to her and immediately solved her issue, and with empathy and compassion. It was the first time we've visited his office, but I am so incredibly grateful to him and his staff for their swift response and kindness to me and my grandmother during an otherwise difficult time.

I highly recommend Dr Hoffman as an “all star” dentist. He’s extremely experienced and has addressed many issues with my teeth over the past year I’ve been a patient. I had a main dentist for 20yrs who retired. After 5 years I thought I would never find a suitable replacement. Thank god I was referred to Dr. Hoffman. He has been excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for dental care.

Love Dr Hoffman and especially Abin who does my teeth cleaning. I could probably win a prize for the most nervous and apprehensive patient that walks through their doors but Abin is so calming to me and gets me through the dreaded appointment (no fault of theirs...it's just me.)

I miss Dr. Hoffman. Over 15 years ago I went in for a filling and we successively endured root canals, bridges and veneers. All are still in place. That alone is a great reference. I still recommend him highly to my Bay area friends and encourage those with issues to schedule an appointment and trust him to treat you fairly and competently (and he's nice).

10 years ago just before I moved down here my old dentist told me I needed to come back for a filling. When i moved down here my friend referred me to Dr Hoffman--the "bestest" in the world according to her. When I came in for that filling he told me it was just a stain! 10 years later it's still just a stain and that trust has proved true every time. Even better than Dr Hoffman is his hygienist, Lisa, who is the most thorough and gentle I've experienced.

I've been going to Dr. Hoffman for years and he and his staff have always treated me very well. I tend to require a lot of lidocaine when getting a filling or a crown, and Dr. Hoffman has always been very patient to make sure I don't feel anything. And everyone in the office, from Dr. Hoffman all the way to the front-desk staff, have always been very friendly. I can't recommend him strongly enough.
