Services
All of our drivers are state licensed inspectors. We offer a free visual inspection during each pumping. We keep very accurate records of your system location, condition and solid build-up in your tank. This allows us to remind you to service your tank at the right time. We pump septic systems and grease traps.
All of our trucks are equipped with the latest in tank and pipe location equipment minimizing expense, time, and damage to landscape, driveways, walkways, etc. Whether marking out pipes and system components for swimming pools or new additions, or locating your septic tank cover for routine maintenance.
Large Excavation - Our bigger equipment allows us to make repairs and installations which require large areas of land excavation. The efficiency of the larger equipment during big jobs allows us to be competitively priced and also helps us get the job done in the shortest time possible. Small Excavation - Our small equipment allows us to make repairs in "hard to get to" areas without destroying your yard.
Our licensed Title 5 inspector will research information from the local Board of Health i.e. Upon arrival at the property, the inspector will interview the owner or agent to owner to acquire additionally needed information. The inspector will use existing plans to locate all system components, groundwater information and drinking water setbacks (well, reservoirs, etc.).
All septic systems will eventually clog and fail. By pumping the sludge (solids) from your septic tank periodically you will increase the life of your soil absorption system (leaching field). The proper maintenance of a septic system can save the homeowner considerable problems and expenses in the future.

Curtis Septic Service/Northborough has always been our go to service since we bought our house. They did our pump out, title 5 and replaced, D-box. They are always on top of things and send reminders to do your pump outs.
A little over a week ago we got a few inches of rain and one of our 60+ year old leech pits collapsed. We called and they came right over. They worked with the town to get the proper permit to fill the hole with certain stipulations in place. This morning Ross came by with a truck full of rocks and a backhoe and he explained to me what he was going to do. He also advised me

I had high hopes for Curtis when trying to get our Title 5 inspection, especially after talking with the office staff. As others have said, they are not the cheapest, but seemed the most professional when calling around. When they did the inspection, they said the distribution box needed to be replaced and a collar on the access point put on (local regulation). On the website, they talk about leaving things "as they were." Which turned out not to be true. They left a MESS. "As they were" for not include a mound of rocks, clay and sand. It took days to remove all the rocks

I can't say enough about the service that we received last month for our septic fiasco. We received several quotes from different companies and contractors and we did go with the lowest quote even though it was still high it was exactly as expected for cost. They offered to come out with an hours that same day and make the necessary replacements that we needed.

Professional, ethical, and compassionate is how I would describe the owner of Curtis Septic Service, Andy Curtis. My 1st septic inspection was failed by a local inspector, the 2nd inspection conditionally passed, but the inspector couldn't back up his findings because of a completed perc test completed in my backyard. So the BOH challenged my option to replace the distribution box in my front yard instead of an entire new system. By a miracle, I was researching DEP laws, and trying to research legal advice and found CSS' number. I spoke with Andy who was an expert in septic systems and title 5

Curtis septic provided great service. My basement sewer pump failed and I needed the septic tank pumped before the system could be replaced due to a backup. Curtis was able to fit me into the schedule on the same day. Adam, the operator, was on time and professional. Adam took the time to talk to me about the clogged filter in the septic tank and how to clear the filter. I highly recommend Curtis septic and Adam!

I called to get some ballpark figures for a client of mine and I was impressed that someone took the time to guide me through the process of installing a new system and the variations in cost and why. The person I was speaking to took the time to look up nearby properties and give examples. When you are calling around for potential quotes it is always nice to see someone go the extra mile because they care.

I never write reviews online for company's, but I felt as if it was necessary in this specific instance. I made an appointment with Nikki and Christine, both of whom were very nice over the phone. I made the appointment for a home that I am selling in a Weston. I was given a window of 1:00-3:00pm. I had to call them(instead of the other way around) after waiting for two hours and was told they couldn't find the person who was supposed to be coming to do the inspection. After another 15 minutes I got a call from the 'inspector' who said he would need another 30 minutes at the current job he was
