Services
The Sylcox Family has served the Hudson Valley in health care since 1939. Mid-Hudson Managed Home Care, Inc.was established in 1996 as an additional option to our nursing home and adult day care services. We offer live-in and hourly care, from a few hours to 24 hour healthcare, and have nurses and therapists who participate under the direction of the patient's physician.
In today's society, our elderly and infirm often aren't given the type of high-quality care they deserve. Due to underfunding or simple neglect, their needs aren't met, and their quality of life suffers as they age. At Mid-Hudson Managed Home Care, Inc. (MHMHC), we offer a better alternative. Our services are designed to provide the best healthcare services in the comfort and convenience of our patients' homes.
Our Home Care Live-In Aides stay with the patient 24 hours a day, every day they are scheduled. The aides are trained to offer services such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation and assistance, laundry, medication monitoring, light housekeeping, and comfort care according to the Care Plan. Our aides are able to transfer patients and/or use appropriate equipment, such as a Hoyer lift, which can be obtained through Medicare.
There will be times when live-in care is not necessary for you or your loved ones. You simply need someone to provide care during a few hours of the day, when you are at work, when you have important errands to do, during meal times, or for sleep preparation. You just want the flexibility and convenience of hourly home care.
What is Home Care? Are all Home Care Agencies licensed? There are so many agencies listed on the internet and in the phone books, how can I sort them out and be sure I am finding the right service in home care? How do I know if I need Home Care? If I consider having someone assist me in my home, can I still "Have It My Way?"

Very unprofessional folks . They try to brag about being in the community for a long time, but have you waste your time for a so called orientation they put together . If you’re coming along and stumbling point get done with the orientation , and have that person get the rest of the paper work. Don’t have them come there , then tell them you can’t finish because of X,Y, and Z. You just completely wasted that person time !!!
