I chose vista medical center because they were based in Boulder Colorado. I literally signed up yesterday. Had to do this all while being sick.
Despite telling the doctor that I usually get bacterial chest/ sinus infections, she said I had a virus. I literally went through this last month at Kaiser Permanente where the doctor thought I had a virus, but it was actually a bacterial infection. Same symptoms.
Woke up coughing dark green mucus, having dreams of suffocating in my sleep.
But now, I have to drive to Longmont in a snowstorm to get a covid test done in the middle of a covid pandemic.

Poor experience. The Dr. Is rushed and does not listen to me when I tell her what I need. I feel that The Dr.does not have the knowledge to treat or help me. It is very frustrating when I tell the Dr. Exactly what is needed, and they don't listen. I expect more from professional in the medical field

NVMC used to be patient focused. Now the focus is on billing. I was a patient there for about 6 or 7 years. I had a chronic issue that was well know between the doctor and myself. The last straw for me: I had a virtual check up with my doctor and everything was fine. The next day I had a flare up of my chronic issue. I called the doctor to get a prescription. The same prescription I had gotten many times. I was told that I would need to schedule another appointment in order to get the meds. I could even do a virtual meeting. What good would that do? The doctor would not be able to investigate

I appreciated that Dr. Joseph Turner did an excellent job listening to me and listening to my concerns. He answered my questions and the staff was professional and promptly got back to me on the results of my lab work.

Their staff knows nothing when it comes to insurance. They told me I was in network and took my co-pay of $50. It turns out I wasn't in network and I got a bill for an additional $114. I argued with them for months but this company only cares about their bottom line. I would highly recommend you avoid them and find another doctor. You may end with the same issue since everyone who works there is incompetent.

Look at other reviews and you will see the same thing over and over again. I would heed all the warnings before something happens to you as well.

Terrible. About 4 years ago it was good...Dr. Flanagan was approachable, available and knowledgeable. Then somehow it went downhill. He must have hired some poor doctors.
I just had the pleasure of "firing" this firm, after having seen it go from great to bad in 4 years. Latest incident was that I was the only person in waiting room, waiting to get blood drawn. I was 5 min. early, at least. I check in. I wait. I hear the blood gal (phlebotomist) yakking. What the heck? Fifteen minutes goes by, the receptionist says 'oh, sometimes it takes a long time for a blood draw'. Twenty - five minutes for

We belong to Nextera, and have for years. Best choice we ever made. It's helped us keep our medical bills down, since we have a high deductible plan at Kaiser. We have called at the last minute for emergencies (stitches, etc.), and they've fit us in at one of their clinics. I also like the 'natural medicine' approach they have. We are not just a 'number' there. It's been a great addition for our family in conjunction with the high deductible plan we have thru Kaiser.

I am sure the doctors are good based on what I have heard. I had my first appointment scheduled today and was turned away because I wouldwou put a credit card on file even thought I have insurance that should pay for most of not all the expenses. It's a shame what is happening to our medical industry!! Best of luck to those who can pay up front for services the rest od us will have to hope we don't get sick because we can't afford preventive care any more.

Extremely disappointed... I’ve been a patient of Dr. Flanagan for more than five years. Always enjoyed our visits and he always provided great care. I learned with no advance notice that Dr. Flanagan is no longer seeing patients who do not belong to their subscription based Nextera program. In addition they are not willing to refill my scripts until I set an appointment with one of their other doctors... This really put me in a tough position and the person I spoke to didn’t really seem to care... Guess I’m going to be looking for a new Dr. this week so my scripts don’t run out... Poor

I went to the center to see my Dr. When I was there I was told I could not see my Dr. until I paid a $20 bill. I asked what it was for and they said for my last visit. My last visit was a physical and there was no co-pay. I went there because I was very sick and all they wanted was the money. I could not see the Dr. without paying it. The Office Manager came out and explained why I had the charge, which I understood. I did not budget to pay that $20 but had to pay it if I wanted to be seen so I went over in my bank account. I just called to make an appointment because I am sick and was told Dr

For a facility that claims to be interested in the whole health of the patient and in preventative care with a focus on functional health and a more natural approach North Vista misses the mark. This is just another health care business in operation to make money, prescribe "band-aid" solutions in the form of pharmaceutical drugs as the primary course of treatment and practice unethical disclosure (or lack thereof) when it comes to additional fees. Don't be fooled; this is mainstream medicine up to its usually tricks. Doctors are wholly committed to your treatment so long as you
