John's of Times Square has been voted one of New York's best pizzas because of its unique characteristics. All pizzas are made to order in one of our four coal-fired brick ovens and like a cast iron pan, our ovens season with age, making no two pizzas the same. The 800 degree coal fired ovens have no thermostats to control heat and are operated by our pizza men who have gone through months of extensive training.
We pride ourselves on our fresh ingredients and incomparable recipes, making our pizzas second to none.

Best John's there is. Time Square WISHES it could be this location. Where does all the love from the John's in NY come from? Like everything else that makes NY great, JERSEY! So if you ever are around the area and are in the mood for Italian. Please come and sit. Have a glass and enjoy, because you will enjoy. I recommend the Chicken Française, unless you're in the mood for something creamy, then their chicken Alfredo will have you begging for more, though you will leave some in your plate still because of how much they serve you. Pricy? A little bit. Worth it? EVERY PENNY! So yea... Go to this

-I placed an order of creamy fettuccine pesto with shrimp for $28.
-I picked up the order within the time window given, 25-30 mins later
- there were 4 shrimp, the pasta needed more seasoning and was really watery.
SUMMARY: for the price and wait time I had higher expectations. I wouldn't order here again.

Wow I am stuffed!! The appetizer (garlic rolls) is definitely meant to share across numerous people. It’s so amazing and stuffed with melted cheese great for all cheese lovers. I also got the margarita pizza which was great too but I’m definitely interested in trying out their pastas next time. Follow me on IG: @traveling.pharmacistt

Ordered from here probably a dozen times. The pizza itself is very good but the service is one of the worst in the area. If you order online or over the phone for pickup, double the amount of time they tell you it will be. If you order in person, prepare to wait an hour for a pizza. It’s good but probably not worth the wait.

Down to earth spot serving American and traditional pizza. Recommended for a low key lunch or dinner.
The service comes with a smile and friendly NJ dad jokes. Pricing is fair and sizing is generous. Plenty of drinks to choose from (do yourself a favor and get some sangria), as well as a large pizza menu. They also serve non-pizza Italian entrees.
I docked them one star as our pizza took an unusually long time to be prepared. Luckily we had a full carafe of sangria while we were waiting!

Great experience at John’s last night. This was our first time trying John’s and we will be back!! Spoke to someone via the google chat on their listing, they were kind enough to hold a table 15 minutes for us and seated us the minute we got there. Great ambiance outside, friendly wait staff, and delicious eats! We ordered a ceasar salad which was flavorful and so perfectly dressed. We also had the chicken Francese and it was very very good. Good value for what you get. Delicious sangria as well. We felt like we were with family, great hospitality.

Our first taste of NYC thin crust pizza. Our pie was delicious as were the garlic yeast rolls stuffed with mozzarella cheese. The service was a bit slow. We suspect they were short-staffed as a sign on the door advertised help wanted for several positions. Yet the food was worth the wait — and we didn’t have to go all the way into the city.

Brick oven pizza, friendly staff = good pizza and experience. Ordered the marinara personal pizza which is about a 6 inch pizza. Great flavors of garlic, basil and homemade marinara. We sat at the bar and the cooks were nice enough to sample of the garlic rolls. All in all a good experience will definitely b3 coming back.
