We stayed at the Country Cottage for our 2 year Anniversary 11/2021, Had a great time! 💜🖤🏞 The cabin was very nice n charming! We loved the hot tub w twinkle lights n the fire pit. Was a good price and close to Hocking Hills. We went to Old Man's Cave n it was Awesome!;)
Used Google Maps to get to the cabin n it brought us straight there. Once we got there we didn't hv reception so I recommend keying it into the GPS before leaving n getting a cabin that has WiFi. Once we connected to the WiFi at our cabin we were able to put in the GPS to go to Hocking Hills.

Just got back from a stay at Blue Rose. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews here, but we all had a laugh about what some people will complain about. We all had a great time and would rebook here.
1.) It's a gravel drive, folks. There's a hill or two, and some curves. You're in SE Ohio, in the hills. What do you expect? We made it to our cabin just fine, and so will you. By the reviews here, you'd think it was some type of 4x4, mountainside rock climbing jeep trail. It's a normal driveway with some hills and turns, maybe a washout here and there. Go slow. We laughed about this

We stayed in the Cozy Cabin for one night in the winter to get away and relax. The cabin was the perfect place for that! When we arrived it was very clean, smelled lovely, and everything was as described. It was the perfect little cabin for a couple to get away to. They even put up a few small Christmas decorations including a small tree for the holiday season. The hot tub was lovely with a beautiful view of the state park. Easy to find and close enough to Walmart in case you forget anything.

We made the mistake of renting a cabin and not reading reviews first. we stayed in the big woody cabin.
Let's start with the positive:
1. the cabin was cute.
2. hot tub was clean and very enjoyable (especially for our neighbors!!)
Now the negative:
1. MOLD-the minute you step into the cabin all you smell is musty mildew, I took pictures of mold on the walls in the bedrooms. Having allergies and asthma, this is a recipe for disaster.
2. the furniture looks like it was picked up on the side of the road. old, uncomfortable and moldy smelling.
3. towels- bring your own. these are like the size

We spent the weekend in the Rosebud cabin. It was 85-90 degrees every day and I would bet this cabin has the coldest air conditioning in Hocking Hills, which was really nice to come back to after hiking and exploring everyday. The Hot tub was awesome, crystal clear water with a moderate scent of chlorine. The grill and fridge did what they do on a couple NY strips and a 12 of Shandy. Dog friendly!!!
P.s. A nice break...No cellphone, internet or cable. Download podcasts or music beforehand.

Absolutely not what I expected. We got here and tried calling but no answer. The sink and oven were loaded with baby ants so couldn't use those to even eat. We decided hey let's us the grill no big deal, wrong! It was so filthy . The hot tub has so many chemicals in it that it burned our eyes and we kept choking had to get out. The silverware is just thrown in the drawer no rack. On top of that the mildew and mold on side of fridges, sink and all the dirty inside the ac and door areas were absolutely disgusting. Tried calling by no one ever answered us left voicemails and emails. I do

We stayed in Country Cottage this past weekend and had a nice stay. The cabin was super cute, very clean, kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was perfect and the host provided plenty of towels. There was also wifi in the cabin and we did get cell phone reception while there.
The communication with the host could have been better. We sent an email five days prior to our arrival with some questions and never got a reply. The roads are steep but what else would you expect in a forest. They warn you in your confirmation email that a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.
I will say that the property

Finally putting in a review here, but I booked a cabin at the beginning of October and it was TERRIBLE. Do not waste your money!! The road to get back to the cabins was a VERY rocky and dangerous road, only room for 1 car, better hope someone isn't coming from the other direction!! The cabin was dirty, old worn down furniture, rusty fridge and door, hot tub water was green, mold in the bathroom, the list could go on!!! We immediately felt uncomfortable so we left out to Logan to call them and explain that we wouldn't be staying, and the manager fought me on it until I disputed it with

The road to these cabins are terrible even with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. You can't pull anywhere close to the front of the cabin and the walkway is slippery. The front door is in need of a coat of paint as well as the refrigerator door.the cabin smells bad I think it must be the carpet because I wiped all the counters and table with clorox wipes and there was no dirt. The hot tub was started and warm on arrival and the kitchen is stocked with just about anything you would need. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall in the bathroom and there really needs to be rugs on the floor. The beds

The cabin we stayed in was the Oleander and it was very disappointing and frustrating for the price we paid. Upon entry the cabin was very dirty. There mold in bathroom, none of the blankets or anything appeared to be cleaned (hair and general dirtiness all over them). The rules say guests are responsible for cleaning the dishes and when that's the case the dishes get a very poor cleaning job and you have to wash them anyway. The towels were very dingy and the toilet looked as if it wasn't even cleaned, same for the sink. The only upside was how secluded the place was, but the websites

If I could rate this place Negative (-) 5 stars I would. Absolutely awful experience. We stayed at this facility for 2 nights and left early on the third day. Upon arrival we were prompted to unlock the front door ourselves- no welcome center. We thought this odd as anyone who has access to this code also has access to our groups belongings (we felt this was very weird as we doubt codes are changed between visits). The Cabin - dirty is an understatement - feces on the toilet seat/bowl (we cleaned this with our own hands), dust all over the place, nasty towels, pee smelling cabin, bugs and random

Don't ever book a stay at Blue Rose Cabins. The place was absolutely dirty upon arrival. The main living room light was not working and it took 3 hours for someone to come and bring a small little lamp that we put up with for 3 days. The hot tub was absolutely gross and had old grime stuck onto it. The water looked green and as if it hadn't been drained or cleaned. Bathroom toilet seat looked like it hadn't been cleaned. My friends and I left that place cleaner and spotless than we had found it. After leaving they charged us over $400 for "damages" that were there prior

These cabins are wonderful. We have been coming to Hocking Hills for years and Blue Rose is always my first pick when finding a place to stay. Location is great and the cabins themselves are tucked into the woods in a beautiful and private setting. Everything has always been clean and in great working order when we're arrived.

I don't know where to start... we got here late last night not expecting anything fancy. The bedrooms ate so small. It was dirty, chips and crumbs under the couch. The next day we decided to use the hot tub and the water was so low you could barely use it, not to mention there was trash floating around in it. The filter clearly hasn't been changed in months. There was another persons Dogs crap on the porch. We called them when we found all of this out and the lady had a horrible attitude with us. Saying it was our fault for not calling the night we got there ? We didn't use the hot

No salt &/plowing of the roads to the cabins. Wrecked our all wheel drive SUV. Ran into the guardrail and now will have to repair the bumper. No welcome packet/information in cabin. NO WIFI. This means no connecting to your Bluetooth either. So I hope you weren't hoping to listen to music or watch tv. No cell service. Only 4 person hot tub for a cabin that is supposed to accommodate 10. No dishwasher. No washing machine/dryer. Only 1 bathroom. Field mouse in the cabin.
Overall clean and pretty views outside.
Not worth the heachache of the stay. To have no WiFi in an area that also has

If you have not yet had the opportunity to go stay in a cabin in the woods you should go ahead and reserve one soon. They fill up super fast and it is a wonderful gift to give, let's say, to your significant other. You see, I had never stayed in a cabin before. It is something that I have always wanted to do but just have never had the opportunity to do it. My boyfriend took me to Blue Rose cabins, up around the Old Man's Cave area for my birthday last September. My birthday is August 28th but we went on Labor Day Weekend. It was just him and I and of course our dog Sophie. It was so relaxing that

I see this is labeled Bed & Breakfast but that's not entirely accurate. They're just cabins. No breakfast. However they are nice cabins! Very private and cozy. We stayed in the 'Wildwood' cabin. It was beautiful. There are journals there guest can write in to share their experiences. Also the house keeping lady hid a dollar and left a clue. Now each person who stays can find the Dollar from the clue given by the last guest and then hide it again leaving a clue for the next guest. Fun game! One thing I'll say is our hot tub had entirely too many chemicals. We could only stay in for about 5 minutes

Great location, easy to get to but still seems very private. It was so dark and quiet at night, very peaceful even though the location is easy to get to from Route 33. It was simple to book only a week in advance, and they let us stay only one night, so overall I'm very satisfied with those aspects.
The cabin itself (Rosewood) was lovely, perfect for seven people, clean, and had very efficient AC and other amenities. The hot tub was perfect, and they had firewood stocked for us when we arrived which we really appreciated. However, it was a little down at the heels in other ways. We had trouble

We came here in late March for our anniversary. The reviews had me worried, but I went for it anyway, and it turned out great! I did get charged twice, but they fixed it immediately. I changed our reservation from the Overlook to the Pinecrest cabin, bc the Overlook seemed too small, and they were the same price. We thought the cabin was beautiful! It was fully stocked with clean dishes, a microwave, coffee maker, full size oven, fridge, satellite and WiFi. There was even a hdmi plug for my laptop on the smallish flatscreen. The fireplace was electric, and super warm, so we barely needed the heater

The cabin itself is in a nice location but Blue Rose does not manage their business well. The heat was out, and we had to buy space heaters to keep ourselves warm. They were not accommodating. The repairman who came to fix the furnace THE NEXT DAY said it had not been installed properly. The cabin we stayed in was Rosewood and needs updated. I would not recommend Blue Rose Cabins. Check out Buffalo Lodging Company. They will take care of you, and their cabins are very nice and affordable.

We stayed for a single night and it was absolutely perfect. We missed the all wheel drive warning and got the car stuck. Derek drove out and got us unstuck which was incredibly nice of him. The hot tub was hot and everything we dreamed it would be. The cabins are tiny, super cute, and very cozy. We almost stayed an additional night but I had to be back for work. But I would recommend these cabins to anyone and I'll definitely be back for another winter night stay!

My fiance and I have stayed here several times and we've really enjoyed it. The one bedroom cabins look brand new. They're very nice and clean. They're out in the middle of nowhere, but that's part of the adventure. They recommend a four wheel drive if you're staying during the winter, and I can see why. It would be quite easy to get stuck. But my little Ford focus did fine in the late spring. We enjoyed having the hot tub on the deck, my only complaint is that I wish it would have gotten hotter, but I like the water super hot. It's not luke warm or anything... we
