The Sea Isle Location allows owners to discriminate based on age and whether you have children. I was unable to take my sisters on an affordable family vacation because, in lieu of a husband and children, I take care of my younger sister with special needs. When I asked whether a special scenario could be taken into consideration, being that my sister's age does not reflect her intelligence/maturity, I was told that he only "rents to families with a mom, dad, and kids " and on paper were are "three individuals". I rented a property through L&F for a trip to Bethany Beach recently. We were so excited bc it was our first trip in over 2 years. The place looked like it had barely been cleaned.
* there were stains on the mattress covers in the master bedroom and an upstairs bedroom; no telling when they were actually washed.
* ants crawling all over the kitchen counters to the point where we didn't even want to cook
* for the first two days, there were flies EVERYWHERE
* the floors in the livingroom/kitchen were filthy
* there was a USED straw behind the coffee maker
* the bed in the master bedroom

I would give 10700 Coastal Highway -- The Quay NO Stars! The leasing agreement says to pre check the unit you're interested in leasing but a 4+ hr one way drive is unreasonable. This is a RED FLAG that there might be a problem with some of their units. Unit 2003 needs a total redo especially the mattresses with very little padding, the sofa that sinks in the middle, the cot that has no padding, stained & soiled bed linens. Toilet needs to bolted to the floor, rug in living room needs to be cleaned or trashed. Curtains were very dusty. The air vent caked with dust. There was a bright

My family had booked a house for Commissioning Week 2020. When it was announced that commissioning week was canceled because of COVID-19, my mid and my family were shocked and disappointed. As our heads were spinning, Long and Foster Vacation Rentals had our best interest in mind. Within an hour of receiving the news, Long and Foster had sent us a letter stating how sorry they were that commissioning week was canceled and wanting to know how they should handle our reservation. My daughter and I recently rented a beautiful home in downtown Annapolis. Due to military orders, our family recently moved overseas, with my husband leaving right after Thanksgiving, and my daughter and I following soon after (pending COVID restrictions).
We found a beautiful home on VRBO and Long & Foster requested instead that we contact the office directly, rather than book online through VRBO for the days we needed.
I was very upfront with our realtor, Lauren Dyer, that our move-out date could change at anytime--whether it be any extension or we move early, all pending updated military orders

If I could give zero stars, I would. The house was in a good location and a good size, but the property was not managed at all. The house was filthy. Cobwebs, trash, mouse traps and food were everywhere. We had to go out and buy pillows and blankets the first night, because the ones at the house were stained and there were pieces of food on the pillows from the previous renters. The pots and pans were barely usable and we had to purchase new ones to cook. The cleaning service, Shalom Cleaners, was a joke and didn't even bring a vacuum despite the fact the I specifically told them the floors

We rented Southern Comfort property in Bethany Beach. The house was dirty on check in. There were cob webs, bugs, and mice traps everywhere. The beds were filthy with food on the pillows, stains on the comforters, ripped mattress covers, and trash under the beds. We contacted Long and Foster multiple times without them ever resolving our issues. They sent Shalom cleaning service out. This was a 1 person crew with a rag and liquid cleaner. She was actually picking up food off the floor with her hands because she didn't have a vacuum. We contacted Robert Alexander who we rented the property

Long and foster is the worst company to plan your vaca with. We stayed at the plaza in unit 0612. We had no AC for our entire stay. There were 6 adults and an 8 month old. Our room would not go below 74 degrees F. It was so uncomfortable to be in the room and especially to try to sleep.
We called the emergency number and followed up daily with the front desk. Maintenance was to our room 4-5 times. The day we left the maintenance guy came in around 5pm, tore the ac unit apart and let us know the power switch was faulty and needed to be fixed. We left the following morning. I rented a condo 101 in Sand Dollar building, ocean front for 2 weeks. One word describes this unit, filthy. The rug is filthy, worn and frayed. Tack strips are through the frayed areas.there are so many big black spots on the rug. The kitched cabinets are coming off the walls, doors don't shut because they are not level. They are so crooked, you can't open the microwave door all the way.
There is a huge hole in the wall about 4ft by 3 feet covered with a piece of foam board taped on with clear packing tape. Curtains have so much filth on the backs if them. Couch, recliner and pillows

We are currently staying at a property managed by this company called A Sunrae on 136th street. The home is in a good location away from the more hectic and congested part of Ocean City. The home is updated with nice decor. My reason for giving two stars is due to the cleanliness of this property. When the air conditioner is on in the guest queen bedroom it smells heavily of urine. We also noticed a very musty smell throughout the home. When we mentioned it to this agency they said a lot of homes around the beach smell this way due to location. For the Quay owners meeting party in May , I was told 78-100 people would attend
150 people , owners, guests, vendors, and long and foster agents actually attended
I billed company as any caterer would do for the extra people attended but told by Brad
He would not pay and I should of let the 50 extra head go hungry! I told him we work as a family here as I have run the cafe for 5 years and I didn't not treat people that way.
This post hopefully costs him more than the 300 he owes me. I also have a 400 k house listed with long

As a homeowner who has used them for navy rentals for many years, my advice is stay away from listing your home with them now. Not sure why their service and attitudes toward homeowners has changed so much, but with other choices for renting your home, you can find better ways to do it now. Also their commissions are outrageous compared to the modest listing fees in other places.

Renting through Long and Foster has been the easiest and most reliable experience that I have ever encountered. This year has been our second year renting with them and it could not have been better. We stayed at the Quay in unit 2007, renting through Long & Foster. The only reason I am even giving this place one star is because it is ocean front and the view is amazing and the building staff were friendly and helpful. This owner charges high end of the scale, we paid nearly $3,000 for only 5 nights, yet puts NOTHING into it. DO NOT RENT HERE.

My husband and I stayed in a beautiful 4 bedroom house on Bay Ridge Ave for 3 weeks and loved every minute. We were right across from the marina and could easily walk into downtown Annapolis. The house was immaculate. A huge, gorgeous master bedroom with a master bath, three other comfortable bedrooms, a very large kitchen with a breakfast nook, lovely living room and a fantastic back deck and yard with a grill and picnic table. I stayed in a wonderful cottage basically right on the water for about four months between February and July just across the bridge from Downtown Annapolis in Eastport. I had a truly memorable stay and cannot recommend Annapolis Accomodations enough. The 2 bedroom cottage was great, and the location was perfect. Internet, cable, etc was all included. All I had to do was turn up and get the keys. I was travelling overseas so I organised the entire stay via email which was incredibly easy (despite the massive time difference). I absolutely recommend Annapolis Accommodations and will certainly stay
