Services
We will be right with you every step of the way to make sure all the proper paperwork is completed and that your personalized plan is executed according to your wishes. Our staff will work you in person, over the phone, or by email to put together the plan that best suits your needs and budget. Our knowledgeable staff can help with the selection of urns or caskets by providing you with options that fit your budget.
Pacific Interment was founded over 30 years ago with the goal to demystify the mortuary price structure, expose general misinformation surrounding death care and offer reasonable prices. We never charge membership fees common with non-traditional funeral societies. Our price structure has always been straight forward; fees are modest, concisely explained and all costs for desired services are revealed up front.
Having a plan in place ensures that your loved ones know your wishes and are able to honor them without confusion. Let us help you put together a plan that fits your needs. Since mortality faces us all, the importance of our Pre-Need Trust Plan and Registration Plan should be emphasized. Pre-need arrangements spare survivors the burden of having to make decisions and incur expenses on your behalf during their time of grief.
It has been more than 13 years since I lost my 19 year old son. Today, as I looked at the keepsake urn on my mantle, I remembered my experience with the crematorium, and I decided I should review it in Yelp. It was a time of great trauma for me, and now, so many years later, I don't recall the name of the man who served me at Pacific Mortuary.
We believe in personal contact. Your email isn't going to go into some customer service dashboard. At Pacific Interment, we believe in providing the exceptional service we would want ourselves. Our industry is built upon helping people through some of the worst situations of their lives.
In these stressful times, it is nice to know that you can get someone on the phone or to respond to your email quickly so that you can focus on the needs of your family and yourself.

Potential tax fraud! Extremely terrible service. Don't go here if you love your passed away family. We came here for my grandma who passed from covid19 Dec 2021 since we were recommended as this was a sudden death cost and this place was said to be CHEAP. Apparently, you get what you paid for. Initially, everything was promised and a pretty picture was painted to getting the tombstone done etc. Fast forward, months later (nearly half a year) POST-burial..we check, and no photo or inscriptions written on the tombstone. We are already going through so much torment during this period

I've rarely been this impressed with a business! I chose Pacific Interment Service because they were the only such service I could find that actually gave prices online. I did not want to be haggling with salespeople while in deep grieving for my mother.
Ryan and PIS really came through for me at a difficult time. Everything was arranged quickly and smoothly and exactly the advertised price, which was very reasonable. Ryan arranged for the transfer and all the paperwork, which I was conveniently able to complete online. He also phoned several times to let me know how things were progressing

We had a good experience with PIS when my father died -- very professional and respectful. It was a disaster though with my mother. I sent the owner a letter outlining my concerns and she never gave me the courtesy of a reply. Here are some of the things I said in the letter.
You employees were rather abrupt and callous in their manner of interacting with people who had just lost a loved one. Rather than checking in with the family's desires about witnessing the removal process, we were told "this will be rather inelegant and we recommend that the family leave the room."

Kindest people. Very good value. Professional, but with a caring heart. My family experienced a unforeseen tragic passing of a loved one. They took on all the logistics part of it, removing the stress from that part of laying someone down to rest. It allowed us to continue focusing on just grieving. Bless my heart, that they were part of my journey during this unfortunate event in family's life.

Sorry, if you have to use yelp to figure this one out, but PIS is the most honest and affordable mortuary service. I know unfortunately from experience, 2 years ago my mother in-law passed away. While she passed in peace at home, it was hard to figure out what to do, we went to an local "family" mortuary and while they were nice and professional their prices were very inflated compared to PIS.
This year my father in-law passed at hospital, which gave us a little more time to shop around. Pacific interment is the best value in SF. For example you can buy a coffin at Costco for about

No one ever wants to think about the death of a loved one, but Pacific Interment made decision making during this difficult time for our family run very smoothly and as pleasant as possible. We never felt pressured at any time. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We dealt with both MaryAnne and Zia and both were always helpful and answered all my many questions. Also the staff member who took care of my father after his passing was very kind and respectful with his body. If you do ever need a company to help you with the death of a loved one, We highly recommend Pacific Interment

No one ever wants to think about the death of a loved one, but the last thing you want is for the practical decisions to be made even more overwhelming. I had contacted another highly reviewed cremation service first as my Mom wanted to be cremated and got this horrible feeling and impression. Not only could I not get just a straightforward quote, I felt like this other company was trying to up sell me on the phone, from the type of urn they wanted me to pick to the 'use of their staff', etc, where they were giving me line item after line item and then telling I needed to file legal
