Larkspur Landing Optometry
Founded in 1997 by Dr. Gina Day, Larkspur Landing Optometry (LLO) is a full service optometry office serving the Marin County and surrounding areas. We provide annual eye care exams, contact lens services, treatment of eye diseases and vision therapy. We also have a large selection of optical frames with the most current brands and styles available for our patients.

Many individuals with vision-related learning problems have 20/20 distance eyesight, but have great difficulty with reading. Most screenings test just the sharpness of distance eyesight, so many vision problems that affect learning go undetected. Eyestrain from inefficient eye movements, poor focusing, or lack of binocular fusion can make it a struggle to read and interferes with comprehension.

Dr. Gina Day graduated with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry. She is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), and has over twenty five years of experience providing vision therapy to children and adults.

Each year, Dr. Day donates her services to the California Vision Project, and she serves on the Board of the Gemstone Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping improve the binocular vision of children. In addition to her private practice, she also researches binocular vision in LASIK patients, and visual function (Sports Vision) in agility dogs.
New patients keep our business growing, so we are always proud to offer high quality optometry services to our patients. We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
Vision Therapy is an individualized treatment program designed to correct visual-motor and/or perceptual-cognitive deficiencies. Visual-motor skills and endurance are developed through the use of specialized computer and optical devices, including therapeutic lenses, prisms, and filters.

During the final stages of therapy, the patient's newly acquired visual skills are reinforced and made automatic through repetition and by integration with motor and cognitive skills.Vision Therapy can help those individuals who lack the necessary visual skills for effective reading, writing, and learning.

Doc Gina Day did a great job for my wife and I last week. She made it feel like I was her only customer by taking extra time and care to get my eye situation exactly right and for a fair price. Can’t ask for a better eye doc and team. Well done Larkspur Landing Optometry!! Thank you!!

Dr. Gina along with the front staff were extremely welcome, polite, and attentive to my eye issue. In fact, Dr. Gina even called me the following day to to see how I was doing. They provided me with care and as a first-time customer at Larkspur Landing Optometry, I was treated like a superstar. Moving forward I will be completing my annual eye exams here.

My visit to Larkspur Landing Optometry came because I was dealing with an emergency. I start there because I want you to understand that my anxiety was already at about a 10 on a scale of 1-10.
The next problem that I was dealing with is the fact that I just started a new job and my health insurance ended June 30 and my new plan won't kick in until August 1. The day that I had my emergency was Wednesday, July 14.
That brings me to my third stressor before ever coming to see the doctor, I work in SF and get off work at 5pm, so I needed a doctor with evening hours. Thankfully this office stays
