Services
The Bristal offers luxurious senior living accommodations in privately owned communities on Long Island, in Westchester County, NY, and in New Jersey. Known for our exceptional management and top-quality care teams, residents can choose from our luxury senior apartments, assisted living, independent living, and accommodations for memory care.
If you seek a fulfilling and rewarding career working to improve the lives of our seniors, then we are looking for you! We encourage you to apply to one or more of the positions listed below. With the assistance of our expert team, and with the help of our Hands-On & Hearts-In sensitivity training program, you'll learn all the skills you need to know to perform and excel in a premier assisted living community.
When choosing what's best for yourself or a loved one, it is not uncommon to feel overwhelmed or struggle with where to begin. That's why our senior living experts have put together these informational resources to help you along your journey. Whether you're debating the right fit or trying to determine costs, we want to help you make the best, most informed decision.
Here's your complete guide to assisted living - what it is, who may be a good fit for it, how much it costs, and more. We frequently find that one of the first questions people ask is, "What does assisted living cost?" If you search that question, you'll see one common answer popping up over and over again: It depends.
First, it's important to understand the key differences between various senior living options. Independent living is for people who need no assistance with their daily tasks but want freedom from the hassle of caring for a larger home. Assisted living is for seniors who still live independently, but need a little help with the activities of daily living (ADLs).

My Dad has been at the Bristal in East Meadow for about a year (during the pandemic). I cannot say enough how smoothly and efficiently the move was. My siblings and I were a little apprehensive at first about how he would handle living in an assisted living facility. The staff were very attentive to his needs from minute one. He has made many friends and is constantly engaged. We're happy because he's happy and thriving. Abdul and Gina have been a delight to work with and have been so accommodating. Can't say enough amazing things about the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!!

Only giving one star since it’s the only way to post a review. 0/10. Do NOT recommend this place for your loved one. Rude staff, very impatient, rushing around. (Memory unit). Please, find a better place then here.

Negligence at every level. Took my mother out after they failed to be able to even handle medication management and their covering up for failures showed disregard for their residents. They have a beautiful facility and talk a good game at the sales end, but don't have the policies, procedures or ethics to be responsible for anyone that needs care... run by a real estate manage firm and it shows.

My mother moved into the Bristal-East Meadow in March 2018. Within a very short time, her spirit and overall well-being improved dramatically. She embraced this change and adapted quickly as the environment is warm and friendly. The staff, at all levels, are well-trained specialists who are laser-focused on the quality of life for the residents and conduct themselves with kindness and understanding at all times. They partnered with my family to understand my mother’s needs and preferences. My siblings and I and are very grateful for the lifestyle the Bristal-East Meadow offers and for my mother’s

April 2019 we joined the Bristal East Meadow community. It is hard to believe it's been over a year already. After 57 years of my parent living in a private home - it's the best thing that has happened to our family! The staff is first and foremost caring and compassionate - from Community Services, to Wellness to Facility Maintenance - it's a lovely atmosphere to socialize, be culturally and mentally stimulated - and the food is great too! Of course March 2020 and COVID19 changed the norm at The Bristal - the residents have been carefully cared for, kept safe in their apartments and as best the

My mother-in-law is currently living there and we all love the people, residents and staff. They are extremely attentive and let us know if there any concerns right away. And my mother-in-law is a picky eater she says the food is very good and varies. It is amazing how many events they do each day.

I am a Social Worker that has been working for a Home care company for 11 years. We provide Home care to many Assisted Livings. In that time, Bristal East Meadow has been one of my favorite communities to work with. There is a warm energy felt instantly when you walk through the door. I joke the reason for that is because it is the "Mom" of the Bristals, being the original one. The reality is, it is the people who work there! Our team has always admired and appreciated how easy it is to collaborate with their team to reach the same goal of enhancing the Residents quality of life. Just the other

We provide clinicians to The Bristal East Meadow and it is such a pleasure to work alongside a group of individuals who are experts at what they do. Most importantly the staff puts the health and welfare of each and every resident as their primary focus. It is a privilege to work with The Bristal.

I as a former employee at the bristal formerly feel to let anyone know to NOT get a job here especially in waitstaff. JOE WALSH the director of the dining room is a liar, a fraud, a drunk and straight up lazy and belongs in the bristal as a resident. He put one of my 17 year old friends on the street by firing her because he messed up on his job and lied to management and said It was all her fault. she now has nothing and no home. joe gives all his employees all his hands on work so he can sit in his car/ office and drink and walk around the building and go missing. Everyone on the waitstaff feels

The Bristal (East Meadow) provided years of outstanding support and cheerful assistance to two of our beloved family members: my mother-in-law and more recently, my mother. The staff throughout the facility has been outstanding, and when our parents transitioned to the Reflections memory unit, they were cared for by personnel who were attentive, gentle, and professional in every respect. We are grateful for the assistance provided by each and all of those dedicated individuals.

I recently toured this assisted for my mom and dad. It is beautiful. Activities going on and so much more available than the other assisted livings I toured. The place was clean, staff was courteous and the residents looked very happy. I even met the executive director who was out talking with the people who live there. Many other places just let the residents sit and watch tv and I do not want that for my parents. I’m just getting prepared but when the time comes they will be going here. I can’t wait to see my parents doing more than ever with people who really work to understand their needs

My 92 year-old uncle has been living at the Bristal at East Meadow for the last seven years. To say the staff has become like family is an understatement. My uncle never married and has no children of his own, so I and my family look after him and knowing he is living with his Bristal family certainly puts our minds and hearts at ease because we know he is receiving the best care possible. I always tell him that God willing I get to live to the age of 92, I hope I can live at the Bristal of East Meadow someday too!

The Bristal is an excellent facility. The place is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive to the residents. We brought my mother there several months ago and each time I visit her in memory care, I feel very confident and assured that she is in the right place and the best place for her.
