There are many different styles of massage to choose from and many factors to consider when choosing a modality. Comfort level, state of health, and goals you want to achieve through massage will all influence your decision. Whether you're trying to recuperate from a recent injury or you're just looking for a way to relax, there is a modality that best suits your needs.
Blood and lymphatic vessels dilate, thus decreasing blood pressure and making blood flow and waste removal more efficient. Massage liberates endorphines (the body's own pain killers), easing aches and soreness. The release of muscular tension and spasm also decreases pressure on blood vessels, nerve clusters, joints, and vertebrae, thus improving the mobility and comfort level of the client.
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid penalty. All clients are required to call at least 24 hours prior to the start of their scheduled appointment when cancelling. Failure to do so will result in a $20 fee which will be due at the time of the client's next visit.
